Default Completed/Done can delete Card candy Animals Wild & Zoo due 8/1

Please join me for a Animal Friends Page/Card Candy Swap.

Each spot will contain 2 animals (as in a couple) Example a pair of elphants, lions, girafee's or water animals like fish, squid, mermaids, octopus, sea horse, seals, penguins. Forest like squirels, skunks, owl, bears, deer, elk, etc
to be used on scrapbook pages/cards or other paper crafts. These cute friends can be made out of paper, fabric or felt. They can be stamped, paper pieced or machine cut. Any media choice just do a job you are proud of and would want to recive. Please be sure to use at least two layers and one embellishment on each piece. Embellishments can be a 3-D item or as simple as stamping or embossing.

This is a 3+1 swap. Sign up for as many spots as you like, but each spot must be different. One spot is equal to 4x2= 8 animals The animals can be Zoo, Forest or Water animals. Example a pair of elphants, lions, girafee's or water animals like fish, squid, mermaids, octopus, sea horse, seals, penguins. Forest like squirels, skunks, owl, bears, deer, elk, etc Cartoon like Bullwinkle moose, Rocky squrriel, Bugs Bunny, Chipmucks, disney animals (many) and Garfield, Snoopy, etc.

Please bag each set separately. Attaching to an acetate sheet with a topper is not required, but they sure do look nicer that way - it's up to you. Also remember to put your SCS name on your bags. Everyone likes to know who made what. Plus it makes it easier to swap out.

Due: August 1st. Please include a SASE or label if I'm reusing your envie along with the same amount of postage it took to mail to me plus a few more stamps in case. The extra stamps will be returned if they are not needed. If all recieved before deadline will mail within the week.

Prizes for the 1st, 5th, 10th, and every 5th spot after... Who'll be the first??
Prize for those with 3 spots! Will have a challenge or two along way for prizes as well.

Mail to:

Good morning all, where is our friends of the animals? I will load some pictures today of the ones we did at our local group swap. so very cute loved them all! we had lions and bears and tigers and mermaids, and ducks and turkey and deer. that deer reminded me of Bambi everytime I see it I put it on a card with tree limbs and flowers beautiful scene.

I am looking for a elephant stamp I had and can't find she had her baby with her they were cuddling. any body know where that stamp was from so I could order it again?

YAYA and learnt some new techniques, very good show. I stayed in budget as well, (always a good thing) my demo stamps were floral gardens I feel so like a floral card swap!!!! Got some new flower soft colors and my new stamps are awesome. Ladies you will like the prizes. now only question is ...Where are all our card candy folks?

Hey Linda! Put me down for one spot in each too! Elephants are my favorite animals so I'm glad to hear that you found one you were looking for.

I'm glad you decided to host your own swap. If you need any assistance feel free to ask. I'm definitely not a pro but I may have some answers if you need any.

Thanks so much I would never had hosted one without your suggestion and encouragement! I owe you thanks for all of that and then some. I just may have questions as I learn through the process but am so glad to try this hosting. I've seen nothing but warm, kind and loving responses on every thread I have been on and I am so happy to have found a great group of people like that to share my passion and pleasure with daily. Every gallery is awesome! (I'm still working on that project) but I do feel there is help and encouragement here. Great groups of talented women That I hope get to do swaps with me for a long time to come. We have been little slow in gathering folks but maybe its because I set a due day a ways out there? I wanted them to feel there was no pressure and kept item number low so maybe more might give it a try. Thanks so much for joining in this swap I feel honored to have you aboard. welcome.

Hi Linda --
Sounds like a fun one. I'll take a spot in each group. My grandson loves animals and his room is a safari animals theme, so I'll have fun making him something or pages for his scrapbook using these.

Welcome I put you one spot all 3 categories! Can't wait to see your creations sounds like you have plenty of motivating material around you! Boys of any age love animals so you will be able to use them for a while. You may have enough comming to you to create a banner for his room?

That's what I'm hoping to do for my grandchildren one boy and one girl. I'm going to make a letter then an animal then a letter etc until I get the name done. on grand daughter's add bunch colorful ribbon as well. each name has 5 letters so I need 6 or 7 animals I was going to start each banner with a animal.

It's free and no spay or neutering involved!!!!!!! whats your favorite animal? this card candy would be great to create banners, decorate kids rooms, tags for "boy" gifts or on greeting cards (so many card possiblities, baby, kids birthday, nature themed, etc)

Put me down for one in each catagory please....bunnies sound good....i have a few stamps with riley the moose but i don't think he is "animal" enough for this swap...he's more human isn't he...

well i'm sure to think of something...

This is a 3+1 swap. One spot is equal to 4x2= 8 animals so 2 spots is 16 animals (different) and 3 spots would be 24. The animals can be Zoo, Forest or Water animals. Example a pair of elphants, lions, girafee's or water animals like fish, squid, mermaids, octopus, sea horse, seals, penguins. Forest like squirels, skunks, owl, bears, deer, elk, etc

the pair can be male/female or mother/child or child/father or 2 siblings etc
