This is MySweetSix swap that I'm taking Hostess duties over...
ALPHABET PAGE ACCENTS

We had a great response from this the first round. Hoping that you will join me for Round 2
I will open up a 2nd group if there is interest.
Here are the rules:
1. Pick a letter of the alphabet and theme your accent to that letter (A...might make apple)
2. Make a total of 7 letter accents (6+1) the +1 is going to Natalie
3. Use a quality cardstock base
4. Minimum of 2 layers
5. Minimum of 2 techniques and/or embellishments per piece
(example of embellishments are: brads, ribbon, stamping, embossing, fiber, eyelets, pop dots etc.....)
6. Sizes need to be between a min of 3 x 3 and max size of 5.5 x 5.5
7. Sign your work...we want to know who to thanks.
The letter you choose DOES NOT need to be on your accent
For example: If I choose the letter "O" I might make a 2 layered owl with my cricut...sitting on a branch...stamp a hoot phrase on it...add a eyelet and a piece of ribbon.
You will receive back 6 other different letters of the alphabet.
Packaging:
1. Place your swap in a ziploc bag for waterproofing reasons. Mark bag with your name and SCS name
2. Include return postage + 3 additional stamps (any unused will be returned)
3. Include return address label and envelope...I will gladly reuse envelopes but if it is already in bad shape when you send to me you will want to send a new one for return.

Hey Nancy everyone has checked in here except for dbridges I would send her a PM letting her know she need to sign in so that no gets in trouble.

There are still 12 empty letters and there is no way I'll be able to make all those letters...
Please let me know your thoughts on this swap since it's only 1/2 full and due in 5 weeks...

Oh no you wouldn't make those that would be sweet but when I have a swap that doesn't fill up I just swap what I have and if the other swappers want to make the extra letters they can do that for themselves Back me up players that is the right way right ?

I changed the Angel to Apple and got you done for Hippo... Let me know if everything looks ok...

n - numbers, nuts, nest
u - umbrella
x - xoxo
z - zebra, zoo
I've also had a few PM's asking me if the letter is required to be on the accent... Here is Natalie's reply (I copied it from post #13 in her original swap)
They can have the letter on them but they aren't required too. last round some choose to and some choose not too. I think the idea was that some would use them as an alphabet book and others might use them as accents for cards/pages.

Got all of mine done except E, just have to finish those to send off to you, may mail them with the wide borders if thats okay.
Question on the two embellishments/technique thing:
For example, my owls are cut from Cricut(so 2+ layers) and then I used bling for the eyes. Does that count as two (Cricut/bling) or should I be adding something else?
My trains are Cricut cut and have 2 different sized brads (total 3 brads) for the train wheels.
My dogs are Cricut cut and have a bling collar.
And then my butterflies are Cricut cut and have bling on antennae and eyes.
