You are sweet! I am flattered... But now I can't decide on a theme... Garden? Time/gears? Seasons? Or maybe one of the questions you posted like "What if?". I am leaning towards that last one... But will know more tomorrow....

If you decide on time/gears/steampunky then I'm calling dibs!!
Hmmm, I found some books to alter but they aren't the full size comp books, but not the minis either... they are more like journals. Do those work for this or should I stick with the comp books only?

ooooOOOoooo Susan, you might start something new with those....I say GO For it!! I just stick to composition because of the price....where did you find the "journal" size books?
I have 2 wal-marts and both are out of stock on minis and regular comp books...I'm shocked!! Bought some from last year and super glad I did...now...what theme??? Need to go watch YouTube to spur on some ideas...
I just need time. With our crazy school schedule I teach 7 classes -2 subjects on Monday through Thursday. 4 different subjects and clases on Friday. It's killing me. I found the mini comp books at dollar tree. They were 3 packs.

Thanks. Target's dollar bins. I've seen some in Michael's too.

Just FYI, today I found the small comp books in a 2 pack at Target for .99. In case anyone was having problems finding them. They also had the full size comp books for .50

Thanks Kim! I need to get over to Target! I keep forgetting I've moved to the city and have all these places to shop
I went and bought Christmas paper for my planners, cuz you know of course I didn't have enough to do all 4 journals +1 for me with the paper I had on hand. I mean seriously right! Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I actually used paper for my mini's and 1 set of books. I did buy the keep calm paper- 4 sheets for the books and 8 extra sheets because I might need it for something. I may make books for some teacher co workers for Christmas. We did bring home Keep calm banners form England last year for our class rooms so they would love the note books.

I'm liking this whole "keep calm". Why did you go to England? Was it a field trip or just to get away and feel the "calm"?

Quite true! I do agree! Besides you'll be using it all up anyway so none will be left around and then you'll need some more.....vicious cycle isn't it?! Hee hee
I went to England just to go, with friends last summer. We've had alot of major changes at school that are causing everyone tons of extra work so we all need to keep calm.

Finished my journals. I'll post a pic later. They are 5"x7" in size, and have blank pages inside (meaning no lines) so would be a great drawing journal also. The cover looks like tree bark, so I've added an owl and a pumpkin with leaves, and falling leaves as well. There are two ribbon bookmarks attached, as well as a loose bookmark in the back cover pocket I added. There are three tabs, as well as several pages with quotes/words and leaves/pumpkins throughout, and also journaling boxes stamped on several pages also. Hope you like them. It's a perfect Fall day to be crafting Fall projects.
