Since I just HAD to have all the dolls I now decided I'm getting that special plate, as well as the tag pad that has 48 tags that are also made for the doll stamps. But I just had to let everyone know that in a pinch you can use cardboard, a mouse pad and a spoon to ink and stamp them. I had to do this once when we were in our RV and I had hardly any of my supplies with me and had just bought some rubber mounted stamps, but they had no sturdy backs. I was still new to stamping and thought all stamps came with wood or acrylic backs lol. I did some research online and found out how you can stamp without them....reminds me of what we used to do before we had punches, diecuts, etc. now. Just like with paper dolls, we cut them out by hand, right? I started playing with one of my girls so could have my stamp group ladies make one tonight....started to get carried away and stamped the paper doll on lots of other scrap paper I had!
Mary
Oh, I had to get that tag pad too! I just love it. I do have to ask though, what did you do with the spoon? I think I am missing something here. Your stamp club sounds like a lot of fun!

Good morning, all! I hope everyone had a safe and great fourth of July. We went out for a great early morning bike ride, then did a few errands, and then spent the afternoon lazily at home catching up on things. We could see fireworks from our balcony/windows so stayed there to see them. Great and relaxing day.

And I figured out that I have five of the dolls! Plus wings and the pad.
The pad has 48 identical tags. Now I don't need that many really.

SOOOOOOO....

A PRIZE OF 10 TAGS GOES TO THE FIRST ONE TO POST A PIC OF ONE OF THEIR PAPER DOLL CREATIONS FOR THIS SWAP HERE IN THIS THREAD!!!

I posted my card with one of the Prima paper dolls; this will be one of my swaps. It looks a little blurry in my member folder mlecuyer at Prima paperdoll card by mlecuyer - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I do have a blog where there are better pics and details on it at Dogg and Pony Show If you click on the bolded letters it should take you to the links

Hi Susan,

I hope you're all settled in your new home and job! I wasn't planning to take on any new swaps as I'm going back to school full time this fall, BUT, I saw this and can't resist. Could I have 2 spots, please?

Thanks!

ROXIE: Are you coming to PA for Crop for a Cure this year? I had to get new roommates and wasn't sure my DH would go for it since he's out of work and money is tight, but he knows how much this weekend means to me and I just made the final decision to go tonight. I hope I see you there!

Oooh, looks fun! TFS.

I'll be traveling the next couple of days -- going to see DS, DD and DDIL and DGS.
May be off line through the weekend but keep us bumped up and I'll add folks when I return! Have a great weekend!

Well, I decided to leap and become a CTMH consultant on Monday. I am official and sb receiving my kit this week. If anyone wants a catalog pm me and I will be happy to send you one. The new catty is simply awesome! That is what inspired me to join and I have local gals wanting me to teach classes. Can't wait to get this going and really look forward to doing this.

Congrats, Dell! I wish you lived closer! I'd come to classes! I haven't found anyone near me here to do any kind of stamping or scrapbooking classes through SU or CTMH! I don't want to (or rather really have time to) be a demo but enjoy the CTMH classes for pages. Do you have a website for folks to order through? If so, PM me the link!

Planning on playing with the girls this weekends with my nieces. You could back your fabric with wonderunder, then cut out what you want and iron it to your girl? Or you could cut the fabric and send thru the Xyron? I'm thinking of sewing my pieces together.

Ooooooooooooooh, I forget about Xyron!!! Duh! My sister bought me one a few years ago and it sat in the box for two years, then I used it for a couple projects and forgot about it again.

My new craft room is HUGE, ladies, can't wait to get in it in September and unpack and play.
