Oh, OK. Hadn't thought of that.
Who knows, I may get a wild hair and start dying everything in all colors. I just stayed away from that with my bad experience with the powder. The liquid just might change my whole life.

The sparkly vampire from Twilight. According to all I know about vampires, glitter and sparkles are not their M.O. Forgive me Twilight peeps, that's one thing I just can't get into.

When I was thinking clothes pins, I was thinking of the big clothes pins that they have at the craft stores. After I looked at some of the links I realized that you truly meant the regular kind that a person would use to hang clothes on a clothesline!
I'll think about the clothes pins.......I'll get back to you. I don't want to overwhelm myself (again)!

So I will enable you this morning. I am adding you to the Christmas category, and giving you a little suggestion. If you have a Dollar Tree, Spend a Buck, Dollar General type store in town, or even Walmart - you should have no trouble finding clothespins.
I don't think my crafty stores have clothes pins either. Have fun!
One of my stamping group members has a daughter whose school is having a contest collecting Box Tops For Education in the month of October. If you guys have any on products around your home that you are not saving for someone else, could you cut them off and send them to me to give to Brookelynne? I'd be delighted to pass them on to her. She's very conscious of what the school uses them on- she likes to bring home books from the library that were purchased with the box tops. I would greatly appreciate any help you guys can be with this. I think it's a great thing when kids READ, much less when they are aware of how money is spent. I was kind of amazed when I looked online and saw just how many products have the box tops on them. Since I buy Ziplocs in Sam's Club quantities, I was able to give her around 25 just from my cupboard!
Hi everyone, Joyce the dying tips are great. I have some of those squeezy bottles that have dye in them that I've been unable to throw away. lol.
Jen, DD has read all the twilight books and I tried to read them so I could relate to the story with her but quit. Not my thing however I did go to the movies with her and she's counting down for the final movie to be released, sometime around my birthday.
Lori... thanks for posting pictures everyone is right, they are cute!
I would love to help if I can but I don't know what you are referring to. What kinds of tops to which boxes? I don't buy a lot of stuff, since there's only me at home, but if I have anything or need anything, I can take the top off and send it to you.

Many thanks for any assistance, ladies!!!
My grandson and all the kids in our neighborhood save the boxtops too. I would get skint if I sent them somewhere else. If it were not for that I would be glad to help. So sorry...........
It really does help the schools. They have contests to see which class can collect the most boxtops.
You can get coupons and extra boxtops and all sorts of stuff here: School Fundraisers - Box Tops for Education
We've been doing this for years and it is a great way to help the schools.

OK! I just printed off the list or qualifying products and what the symbol is on the "box top." Boy was I confused at first. I have to go to the grocery store this weekend. I'll try to get the products with the box tops. Where should I send them?? Sandra
Sybil - Thanks for the link that explained things.
Sorry if I wasn't clear! And I understand if you save them for someone already, I was just hoping to catch the people who toss them out, not knowing that they can make a difference!
Anybody who needs my address to mail them, just send me a PM. I'd kinda rather not post it here, not that there are any strange people on SCS, right? Um, well, stranger than us, right Joyce???
Checking in.
I am going to be VERY busy this weekend. I've got 4 swaps due in November that I need to get working on. I'm getting together a box of Christmas cards and general subjects cards to send to our troops overseas. And, I might (probably not) think of cleaning/organizing some in the house.
Hope everyone has a productive weekend!
Oh, I'm building a blog with the help of a class at our local community college. Here is the link to my blog. REMEMBER - it's a work in progress!! Feel free to email me feedback. Thanks

Clips are in the mail And I'm a bit nervous because I'm not sure Tombolo is and everything is just a little hard to enjoy seafood is let me know if there
I'm still laughing I used the voice recognition on my ipad and the above quote should say
"I'm a bit nervous because the envelope was thin and the clips may spill out on the floor. Joyce please let me know if they get there.
I've been advised (thanks so much!) by Joyce to take the brackets off my link. Hey, I didn't know that would make a difference. I'm not very computer savvy. So let's try this again. Feedback about my blog is greatly appreciated.

Happy Mail Alert from the weekend!
mrslaporte - your packages has arrived safely.
Marilyn - 4 sets of festive clips...so pretty! I like the fabric on the clips and the tiny tags. The little red truck full of love...Toooo cute! You did a fabulous job on your clips - they all make me smile
I had to go to the Threads of Love meeting today, and Himself offered to take the package. Charlie just assumed that he was going with me, and when I told him he couldn't go he just deflated, plopped down and his little ears and face were all droopy. I think Himself felt sorry for him. That is the first time he has taken Charlie anywhere without me. He never takes the others anywhere but to the vet and the groomer. Charlie just loves to GO. He gets a cookie when he goes to the bank with me, or to petsmart. I asked if he got a cookie today and he said they didn't have cookies at the post office. He is sitting on my feet as we speak, so glad to have me home. Such a sweet little guy.
