“I like coffee, I like tea, I’d like you to craft with me…”
DESCRIPTION: This swap is to make anything that has to do with coffee or tea, or similar including espresso, Chai, lattes, green tea, hot chocolate/cocoa, iced coffee, iced tea, etc.
(Some great examples posted in post #9 and #10 below.)
It can be a card, it could be scrapbook or card candy, could be gift box or bag, it could be an altered tin, it could be a treat bag filled with chocolate-covered espresso beans and a cute decorated topper (gee, is that specific?)… just must also have a stamped/die cut/decorated part to it, with a minimum of 2 layers of quality cardstock and 2 embellishments/techniques, and cannot be larger than 5”x7” for mailing purposes please! Also, keep in mind it will be mailed back in a padded envelope so cannot be breakable for that reason, etc, and keep in mind it will be mailed in Summer weather.
NEW BONUS: POST YOUR GUESS AT HOW MANY TOTAL SWAP SPOTS ARE SIGNED UP FOR BY THE CLOSING DATE -- YOU MUST POST YOUR GUESS WHEN YOU SIGN UP (FOR FIRST 61 SWAPPERS, YOU HAVE TIL END OF MARCH SINCE THIS STARTED AFTER THAT).
THE CLOSEST GUESS WINS A PRIZE!!
SIZE: 2”x2” minimum, no larger than 5"x7" for mailing purposes please.
QUANTITY: Quantity is 5+1(the 1 extra will be for the hostess.) You will not get one of your own back so make sure to make extras for yourself.
VENDOR PRODUCTS: NVR, but please use the type of quality products that you yourself would be proud to attach to a gift. You must have at least 2 layers of cardstock, and at least 2 embellishments of some sort on each item. Let’s made these the kind that even Making Memories, EK or Jolee’s would envy.
DEADLINE: Swap closes 6/10/09. Please get them to me no later than 6/30/09, so I can get them back in the mail to you that next week.
MAILING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Enclose in a plastic bag for waterproof purposes.
- Write the name of the swap, your SCS name, real name and mailing address on the bag or on a piece of paper inside the bag.
- Please include a return mailing label and the same amount of postage you needed to send yours if you want me to reuse your envelope/box -- plus one extra stamp in case items weigh more to return. Send ONLY U.S. postage stamps or U.S. Cash please, NO DATED stamps or metered mail ~ this is NOT acceptable by my post office to mail your swaps back to you. I do not recommend Priority Mail as it isn't guaranteed any faster than First Class, and I recomment UPS or Fedex if cost is comparable.
Please send a label and loose postage/$ as I may have to return in a different container/box/envelope just in case others send items that are bigger.
- Please be sure to write name of swap on outside of envelope to help me keep organized, and write DO NOT BEND on the envelope.

I want 2 spots please. Just made little cards with chocolate an now the ideas are just rolling around in the head along w this crazy headache. I may take a couple more will let you know about them.

NO DATED METERED STRIPS, ONLY U.S. Postage or $. BLANK envelope (not addressed or stamped) is just in case others send items that are bigger and I have to attach postage to another container.
