I LOVE notebooks! And I've seen some beautifully made altered notebooks in the gallery. SO let's do a swap where we can share some of our beautiful work with one another! It doesn't matter how you alter the comp book, just make 4 of the same kind. Prizes will be given out during this whole swap! I look forward to swapping with you!!!
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Alter a regular sized composition notebook with a minimum of 1 embellishment. Please only use quality materials and only submit work you would be proud to give as a gift.
QUANTITY: 3+1 That means a total of 4 items you make, you will receive 3 different items back the +1 is for the hostess.
You must check in regularly, please post when you mail and when you receive.
DUE DATE: Please have them in my hands April 15, 2011. The first one to get it in my hands will receive a prize! ☺
PACKAGING & MAILING INSTRUCTIONS:
Must be on time. **Please allow at least 1 week for shipping.**
Package each item in a bag marked with your SCS ID. Be sure to include a self-addressed return bubble mailing envelope or label with enough postage to return the items, plus a couple extra stamps in case needed. I will return extra.

being a crafter...there are so many different times i REALLY miss the states!!!
i miss all the great deals i used to get when i would go looking for them. i'm hoping to visit the states this summer....i am REALLY hoping to get some fabulous finds!!!

We were stationed in Germany from 2005-2008 and I would be so jealous of all the stateside ladies getting all the good deals at their local craft stores. I use to order from Joanns when they gave me free shipping and from Scrap Your Trip since they ship free to APO/FPOs. Dh and I are both retired Air Force. Japan is one of the places that I never got to visit, only their airport when I was stationed in Korea. I would love to visit one day, hopefully when my dd graduates from high school.

Yeah, I still get ads for Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and AC Moore, and occasionally wish I could just walk into the store. However, I love living in Japan, so sometimes you have to sacrifice things Japan would be worth a trip! It's beautiful here, the culture is unbelievable, it's just pricey!

How's everyone's weekend going? It was a busy day for us yesterday - we had a Gumbo party! I needed an excuse to get my husband to make his gumbo....it's been too long!
hope everyone has a great friday! my friday wasn't very productive, but we did get the opportunity to see a doctor....we have been battling hives on my daughter for the last week and they are now giving us claritin. hoping this stops....i've got a bazaar to prepare for next weekend!!

Thank you so much. Its nice to hear that someone likes my blog. I have had it for a long time and haven't gained too many followers so I wasn't sure people liked it but I enjoy posting my stuff so I keep doing it.
The notebooks I really like but wasn't sure if I should add something else to them.

Hello All!!! Hope everyones well! I'm preparing for a bazaar this weekend, if you do craft shows, are there things you always like to make? Or maybe something that sells the best?
