Can I try please? I've never heard of these. I checked the gallery for binder clips and they're so cute! We are referring to binder clips, right?
I would like one spot in Christmas please.

Refer back to post #27 for the link to the original swap. The first post in that swap has lots of examples of both binder clips and wooden clothespin clips. This swap is for either wooden pins, binder clips or jumbo paper clips.

I will cheerfully add you to Christmas, and if you have any questions - fire away! I'm glad to have you join us

OK - I've been stalking this for 3 days now.......

There's some serious talent in this group and I must confess to being a bit intimidated

But I know Peggie Sue will hold my hand if I get scared....

so I'll take one spot in each group.

Thanks!

Hi Lorraine!

We have lots of hand holders available here. You are correct about some primo talent too - these gals are good

I'm adding you to one spot each - let me know if you want more.

(Is it so wrong of me to be excited about having a swap stalker? he hee hee)

Joyce - thanks for the warm welcome!

And yes, you had a swap stalker! I had to think about it, then today, I took a deep breath and thought "just sign up already and play with the big talent!"

Therefore, I stalk no more......

Need to wait til we fly back to Maui next week (for a new cast) so I can pick up my clips and clothes pins - am not going to buy any more since I have at least 100 clips ready to be decorated. And then of course I need to see what materials I have at home to decorate them with - going to be a busy weekend at home!

Good morning

In what creative ways will you be using your Christmas and holiday clips? That's today's question. I look forward to hearing your plans. You may give me some new ideas!

I use the binder clips to hold up a recipe while cooking, displaying photos or hand stamped cards, holding place cards at a holiday table, displaying names of food items on a buffet table. Looking for more good ideas.

Thanks for the welcome!

Bless you for teaching children with autism and their families

My son is 9 years old and is an absolute delight. All of his teachers and aides are wonderful and we are thankful for them every day.

What size of binder clips should we buy? I am guessing the 2" or larger?

I like the idea of holding up xmas cards from a string/ribbon. I'll probably do that. As for the second "other" holiday group, Im not sure what ill do guess i'll know when I see them.

Every year, I decorate a plain fake green wreath for Christmas with different things.

This year, I think I'll clip clothespins on it

Nothing smaller than the 1 1/4 inch size. That's the medium size clip. IMO that's comparable in size to the clothespins (with embellishments on either).

I found some super shiney 2" silver clips today. Any idea what glues might stick best?

Joyce, I'll be mailing my 2 sets of clips on Tuesday in a padded envelope. If I include a self addressed mailing label, can you reuse the padded envelope for the swap return? I'll do this for the other swap of yours I'm in too, if that's okay.

Yes, I can most certainly do that for you.

For Paige, and any one else that want to "reuse" their padded envelopes. When sending it to me (or any other hostess) - PLEASE do NOT use the envelope's sticky strip to seal your package. Use clear packing tape to seal it shut and write on the envelope "Please reuse - cut tape to open". This way we won't mangle the envelope to get into it, and we won't have a hassle at the PO with packaging that might get caught in the machines. We can then use the sticky strip to return the envelope and your goodies should arrive safely.

Make sure your envelope is big enough to receive your return items. Always remember that you may be receiving bulkier items in return and I hate squishing anyone artwork. Don't make me do it to your goodies

Good morning

It's Friday - the weekend is here. Didn't we just have one of those? I'm working on some tags to go with my clips this morning. They will make great goodie bag closures.

Happy Mail Alert!

They are here and they are darling What a great job you did with these! I'm glad you're swapping with us.

FYI - Anytime you are mailing swaps to me this close together, you can combine them in one package to save on shipping. We want to save the money to buy more crafty stuff, right?

We're off to a great start with our holiday clips ladies!!
