I am going to be going to the Container Store later this week. Is there anyone that has been there and anything that I just have to have? I am hoping I can get some organizational things to help me organize my room. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I fell in love with these narrow laundry room carts. I have 4 and they make it so easy to move my stuff to my work area. I have everything I need at my fingertips without making a huge mess! They are actually stored in my laundry room.
I have 15 of the stackable acrylic shoe drawers. They work perfectly for storing all of my "stuff" neatly, and I can easily see inside them. They're a little pricey if you're buying a lot, but it was sooo worth it.
Thanks for all of your ideas I have a feeling I am going to feel somewhat overwhelmed when I am there. I plan on taking some measurements before I leave so I know what will fit.
Keep the ideas coming

Those large spools are 100 yards of grosgrain. What can I say?? I love my ribbon!! The SU grosgrain rolls which fill the rest of the top shelf of the cart each hold 25 yards.
I love the container store and try to stay out of there or I would go broke. I would agree that you definetely need measurements and and idea of the "style" in which you are going for. Are you going for clear boxes and accessories or are you a more "wooden" type of look? Are you going to want baskets, if so what size? Are you going to want fabric bins? They have anything and everything. I usually buy photo boxes, travel items, desk accessories, etc.
I agree with Scrapping&Stamping, but since I'm in Austin we probably go to the same Container Store. If you are thinking of "shelf type storage" make sure you know if you can go bigger than you planned. I went for containers that were 10" but liked some that were about 12" better. Luckily, I could shift other things to make them fit!
one of everything!!...lol i love this store..and i'm glad i don't live closer to one...i too would be broke being 'organized' i'd much rather have lots of messy stamps than just stuff to put them in! haha...hope you have lots of fun and it is a bit overwhelming just make sure you have plenty of time to look at everything since there is a ton of stuff. i would definetly measure the space that you have because you never know what you will fall in love with and need to know if you can squeeze it into the space you've got! happy shopping

Ok, my plans changed a bit. Originally, we were able to have unlimited time but now I only have 2-3 hours. Is that going to be enough time or should I pick a different day?

I think that 2-3 hrs. is plenty of time unless you are ordering custom built-ins or something. You would probably want to get this done as soon as you get there in case it is a time consuming process. I've never had to do anything like that.
The store isn't that huge!! It is a kitchen, bath, wrapping, closets, desk accessories, etc divided into sections. I usually by pass the sections I don't need anything from.
