This week's challenge is to find way's to use either one of the following punches....word window or paper piecing punch. I've had a few requests for both and in some ways they are similar so I am doubling them up in hopes that the greatest amount of people can play. If you don't have either punches...feel free to go faux! Below are a few neat ideas to get you started...
Please remember to put WT62 in your keywords section (using commas to separate multiple entries) and post a link back here. No Sunday uploads please! This challenge is just for fun and inspiration...not a contest or time limit. Feel free to upload as many cards and ideas as you wish. Thanks for sharing!
Location: My very hot stamp room, in Phoenix! It's a dry heat.

I will get at it, but have a few things I have to do this morning first. Making my bed is one of them. I'm a bed maker. Can't wait to stamp though. Thanks Julia!
Just cut out some shapes that mimic the ones used with the paper piecing punch or punch two circles and cut two lines between them to fake the word window.
I don't yet have those punches either (word window shipped today ) but I've fauxed the WW punch the way DawnL explained and I have some WW pieces left from a saddle stitch book kit. That oughtta work! Now to fit it into my day...
OK gals, help me out here! What is a paper piercer (duh). Is it a template for piercing a straight line for faux stitching, or can you make patterns with it? Not sure what to do without either of these.

I'll play but I have to run to a stamp store that is having a huge "garage sale" put on by the store as well as individual stampers who want to get rid of their stamps, inks, etc, that they don't use or want anymore. So glad this will be an easy What to do with.....
Hmmmm....don't have either punch but both look like they are an easy "faux". Have to see if I can get this one done between errands (hoping, hoping) Thanks for the challenge!
I ended up using pieces from a saddle stitch kit and it was lots of fun. I know the pink/choc chip/shabby thing is on its way out, but I'm still having fun with it. Went way more shabby than usual for me Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
This card took too long to make. I stopped to clean up the garage. Then gremhog called to tell me about the fabulous stamp sets she was getting at the annual stamp garage sale where she lives...Of course I had to come onto SCS to look them up!
This scanned in weird b/c of all the dimensionals.
Oh yeah...and a special thanks to Amber for sending me a spinner card. This was the first one I have made. Pretty fun...as long as you aren't interrupted!
