Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
You don't need the hostess set to make a fashion statement on your cards! This week we are making cards with the main image being something you can wear. Let's leave lots of comments on the creations... and for fun, let's leave smilies for the cards with creative sentiments to match the image or for using clothing on a card!
Please put LSC64 in the keyword box when uploading!
Limit: anything you can wear Stamps: images of things that you can wear (sentiments and BGs optional) Cardstock and ink: any Embellishments: any; Bonus for using clothing as an embellishment
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Thanks for letting me tease about the challenges. Jen and I teamed up for a kewl little challenge duoJens awesome LSC is what we shall be doing for our SBTC this week. After you finish your card you could very easily use it on a scrapbook page. Here's the link for this week's SBTC19.

Wow! I'm posting a challenge on the same day, and it even looks like it's on the first page!! All this is being done on the morning of the day we are going camping, so I really have a long list of things that I really should be doing!!
Here's my card! It's still pending approval at 7:27 AM (far too early to be stamping!!)
Enjoy, and have a great weekend!

Okay so I see this and think.........great, I just traded this away with Kelly Martin. Reading on smack, of course it's limited suppy challenge. These shirts were all over the table, I was practicing making them for my workshop on Sunday. This was all to easy. Thanks for the fun challenge.
Oh my goodness!!! I just noticed my Couture #2 card was chosen as a sample to show -- I am so flattered!!!! Thank you!!! I've only made 2 cards with that set, both with the dress, and I just love that dress!!! Can't wait to find time to try the ladies face some day!!! Again, thanks for linking my card!!! -- Sharon
I don't have many stamps with clothes but I saw this saying last week and it has been rattling around in my brain. Just makes me howl b/c my best friend from HS and I have been on diets forever!! She has recently been making strides in her weight loss so I am sending this to her.
At first I didn't think I'd be able to complete this challenge. So I used my thinking skills...and came up with my 5 challenge card this week! I have never used these shoes and purse images before. This challenge really helped me use some lonely stamps. Brand new shoes and purse
I couldn't think of any stamps that I own that have clothing on them, but once I looked through my stamps I found all kinds that I have yet to use! Now my head is spinning with ideas, just hope I have time to get them all down on paper! Here's my first one:
Not sure if I can do this, but here is one I made for yesterdays rick rack rage. She is wearing a "diamond" choker and earring, plus there is lipstick and perfume for her to wear. I'll be able to play later this afternoon. Thanks for looking. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
This had to be the quickest card I've ever made! This stamp is what I first thought of when I saw the challenge. It's not clothing, but you do wear it!
This is too funny! Yesterday for the rick rack challenge I used some dresses, I'm going to post it here as well fort he LSC64 thread...but I think I will attempt another one....
I have absolutely no stamps that are anything you can wear so I hope this is allowed. I combined mine with CC62 and do I get bonus points for using a real zipper?! ;) Shirt for Dad
(image pending approval at 11:19 a.m. eastern time)
It's approved! Wow that was fast!
I just did a card for this challenge, but I think I cheated!!!! Sorry. I actually uploaded this card on Monday, and after I did I was sorry. It looked just "unfinished" to me. I had to mail it out today to my niece so before I did I "finished" it. I added a photo corner and 2 little fluer di lis (sp?) punch outs. It looks much better to me now!!! This card is very similar to my other sparkly dress card, but this one has a boa around it's neck! In the future I'll try to finish my cards before I upload them!!!
