IC24 - Magnet (Inspiration Challenge)
Inspiration Challenge #24 (Don't forget to add IC24 to your keywords please!)
Today's inspiration comes from a magnet I found at my veterinary's office.
Feel free to translate the inspiration item into a card, a scrapbook page, or another project. Be inspired by the colors, layout, theme, or anything else -- this is up to your own interpretation!
What a neat magnet!!
My grandmother used to live near Leesburg!
Hmm..... all I can think of right off the bat is "Penn State".... and I AIN'T doin' that on a card! (I'm so NOT sports!!)
Off I go......
Well, put me to the test girl.........this is going to take some serious thinking! Believe it or not I see a four eyed teddy bear! Maybe I'll go have coffee now!
Hey, how's your mom doing?

I didn't even think of that (and I have a t-shirt from Penn state that has paw prints all over it). Can't wait to see what you do decide to do.

Yeah, I asked my hubby what he saw and he said a sad 4-eyed monster...go figure!
Not sure exactly where I'll go with this, but I sure love the colors. I'm thinking, rose red, artichoke, ballet blue and so saffron. Does that sound close?
I am somewhat visually impaired....so.......here's what I see......either a very comical monkey face ........ or..........a paw??? Guess it is truly an inspirational challenge this week......we are all seeing very different images....which should really be fun........thanks for the challenge
colorblocking
a peacock
upside down hearts
(hold your fingers over the 2 outside spots) a doggy face
Well, hey! It's a veterinarian hospital! What do you expect!
I see all the above except I didn't see the peacock until Dawn said it, but I also see a clowns face. It will be fun to see what stamps sets everyone has to use to make " what we see " come to life
Holy cow!! I might actually have a stamp that will work for this (that's a first!!). I have finished my crosswords for this morning, so I'll see if I can beat Joni (another first)!

Ohhhhhhhh Judy, come out, come out where ever you are ( Probably still stamping ) Heres mine and I have piercing all over the card but only a few of the hearts show in the scan : Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Hmmmm, hhmmmmmm just passing some time waiting for Judy's card, lalala, beach baby, beach baby, give me a card....might as well practice my singing debut for Junes VSN while waiting. Guess i go run my errands and check back in a bit.
I have so much fun with these challenges. Have to admit as I was pulling out these colors I was thinking, "No way." But they actually ended up looking ok, I think.

Well, this is not at all what I had in mind when I sat down to stamp, but this is what materialized. My daughter says it looks like a mad face, but it's supposed to be sheepish (inside reads "You shouldn't have")

OK Miss Smartypants Dudette!! If I could learn to use this darn camera I would have whopped you good, but had to wait for Mr. Body Beautiful to finish his morning run to get a pic. Now I'm waiting in upload pergatory! CURSES!! FOILED AGAIN!!

LOL Judy!! My card is still pending, too. Never have been able to figure out why sometimes it only takes a few minutes and then other times... almost 2 hours now!
I got mine done and all I can say is my color blocking was way to much work trying to get those lines straight. I do enjoy doing the scenery though so I guess it makes up for it!
I think we all played off the color blocking and I looked at all the cards posted here while waiting for approval and WOW, you all do nice work!
Okay, I can never do just one on this challenge. My mind goes off in different directions and I have to try them all. I had fun and covered quite a few challenges with these. I bought the Puppy Love last year when it retired, but never had really used it. Thanks for another great challenge, Karen. Take One: Paws Take Two: Puppy Love Take Three: Puppy in Shoe Take 4: For the Cat Lovers

I already looked and Mr BB must be really busy because I couldn't find it. The girls from that part of the country are something else I must say! So are the girls that have lived in Michigan for many years!
The rest of you just try and figure this out and if you do let us know!
OK... decided to 'rescue' my 1st take, and work on it a bit more.... here's the outcome: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
(oops... I see I forgot to add "Close to Cocoa" for 'paper'.)
Someone must be trying to tell me my card is bu** ugly (or Joni has paid off the mods to put it on permanent hold). This morning it was pending behind JulieHRR's Rubber Ducky and just sat there--other cards were loading up right and left. I finally went in and just deleted it and started over. Let's see how long I "pend" this time!! Joni, if you don't start playing fair I'm gonna take my toys and go home!!!
