Myprecious says that rick rack is all the rage and who am I to argue?! This week's ways to use it challenge is to find ways to use rick rack in your work. I love this fun embellishment and am looking for lots of ideas! Now if you don't have any rick rack...don't rage at me!;) You can faux it by making paper rick rack with pinking scissors or even use a rick rack stamp and I know that Wal-mart has some too!
Have fun and don't forget to put WT61 in the keyword section (USE commas to separate your categories if you have a challenge combo!) and post a link back here. If you are having trouble, pm me. Hope that you all can play. Make lots...more is always better.;)
Happy Victoria Day to my fellow Canadian stampers. Have a safe and happy long weekend,
Wow, Julia, this is gonna be an interesting challenge - I love getting outta the box! Thanks for posting early - can't believe I'm one of the first here! Those s/talkers must have been up all night!!

Hi ladies: I've never done this challenge before, but I can't wait to try. I have lots of rick rack as well, being a sewer from way back. Ever notice that the word "sewer", meaning one who sews, is spelled the same as "sewer", such as in a sewage pipe? That has always bugged me!!! Anyway, I won't be home till tonight, but I'm anxioux to try this challenge! Thanks for posting it!!! -- Sharon
Boy, I'm one of those "wide awake, I can't sleep" stalkers this morning. So I popped out this card before everyone else got up. B/c I'll be napping this afternoon. Plus I think there is glitter on my scanner!
Location: In my Happy Place with no one bothering me....I hope!

I just happen to have some pastel multi-colored rick rack & I need to make a baby card for a swap that I am doing, so I will play later today. Thanks for the challenge, Julia!

Here's my Hello Summer
Good challenge, Julia - not real happy with it, but it's the best I can do with no rick rack!!

Vicky, I love your poem. I had just written and asked Julia if "Faux Rick Rack" counted.
I love the poem too! LOL I must be sleep deprived...I was trying to figure out what faux Rick Track was when I saw this post. yes faux counts...I think I mentioned that in the original post...or maybe I really am losing it!

That's why I prefer calling myself a "seamstress" LOL
Well, I actually used Rick Rack earlier this week for the Big Buckle challenge! Guess I can say I did three challenges this week after all! Don't think that I will be able to play today (unless EVERYTHING goes as planned) so here is the link to my earlier card Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Here's my entry for the challenge. I must have inherited rick rack from my Grandmother because I found several packages of unopened rick rack priced at 10 cents in with some of my ribbons. I wonder how old it is? Rick rack for 10 cents?! Thanks Grandma!

My Mom (avid quilter, sewer, seamstress, etc) has always said she wants personalized license plates that say "SEWER" and let people wonder which it is - seamstress or sewage.
You used one of my cards??? Oh my gosh - I AM HONORED Julia!!!
I have SO much RICKRACK! Maybe I could part with some and make a card - I have to finish my swaps and Sophia's birthday invitations - and the teacher's scrapbooks.....but I will get to it today....
You should check out Cindy's store - she has big rick rack and MINI RICKRACK! Did you know you can dye the RICKRACK with your SU Markers or INK PADS? You can stripe your rick rack.....I bet you can stamp on it to with small stamps!
33% of the cards in my teeny tiny gallery have rickrack on them..... OK so there are only 3 total in my whole gallery and one has rickrack. But I clicked around and can't figure out how to make it link here. I am a better nurse than I am computer geek......... silently stalking the stalkers.
