Hi, can anyone tell me what ghost stamping is? I've seen a couple cards that mention that technique but I can't find it anywhere on the techniques page.

Oh you will so enjoy the look of this technique.You will need some kind of clear pigment ink pad, like Versamark, a dye based pad (spectrum pad would really look beautiful with the variety of colors), a brayer (roller), and glossy cardstock. Stamp on the glossy using the clear pigment ink. Next pick up the dye based ink with your brayer, and roll the brayer over the entire surface of the cardstock. It make take a few pass overs with the brayer before the image appears. I hope this helps.
I did this technique for a swap, and I used clear embossing ink (or a pigment ink - not Versamark) on regular cardstock. I let it dry just a couple of minutes then I brayered over it with dye ink. It took a few passes and lots of brayering, but the images come out very pretty! Here are the instructions I put with my technique page. (I found it on some webpage, but darned if I can remember where!:rolleyes: ) If I remember where I found them, I'll post here again! Have fun - it's a great technique!

Supplies Needed Ultrasmooth (Whisper) White Cardstock Brayer Embossing Ink Single Color Dye-based Ink Pad
Find a stamp image of swirls, snowflakes, bold images or shadow like images, etc.) Ink the stamp with embossing ink & stamp with it. Do this several times on the card. Do not apply embossing powder or heat. Ink the brayer with the single color dye-based ink pad, then roll it over the card. The embossing ink acts as a resist, the images will appear as more color is applied. You can leave this as is or this can be stamped or embossed in a complementary or contrasting color.
When I did this, I used the big flower from the Looks Like spring set, and stamped it with clear embossing ink on Whisper White Cardstock. Then I brayered it with orange classic ink. It took lots of brayering for the image to come up, but it makes a lighter image than the orange. Then I used the same stamp and stamped orange over it - really pretty. I'll try to post a picture of the page I did the background on. It really is a great technique.
By the way, I think what she was talking about with Versamark and glossy cardstock is Versamark Resist, but I'm not positive.

I found one of the technique pages that had Ghosting on it. It has lots of other fun techniques, also - and the technique is called "Ghosting - Resist Without Embossing".
Thanks so much, sorry it took so long to reply. I'll definitely be playing around with that technique soon! It does look so beautiful!
