Hi stampers! This is going to be an easy one since we have VSN this weekend This was inspired by the SU! retirement list that was released this week. Did you notice how many birthday sets are on the cutting block? Hope we get lots of new sets!
This week we are making birthday cards. The catch is that you can't use any traditional birthday images ( cake, presents, balloons, streamers, party hats, etc.). However, you must use the word birthday on the front of the card.
Please put LSC62 in the keyword box when uploading!
Limit: Birthday theme without traditional birthday images
Stamps: "Birthday" included in the sentiment; no traditional birthday images, any backgrounds you wish
Cardstock and ink: any
Embellishments: any
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
If you need help with uploading your card to the gallery or posting a link, click here! Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I was up stamping, and thought I would check to see if Jen posted early for us. Yippee! This card uses TLC,CC,SC & LSC from this week. I could probably add some white gel pen highlights to qualify for the WT - but I am too lazy to re-upload
Anybody around? Wow, Jen, thanks for posting so early - I've been up since 3:30 and just turned the puter on - now I can play early and maybe get some work done!

That was so fun. I hadn't tried Beate's tutorial for the big buckle card yet, so I incorporated that. I also loved mytime's scooter card, so went off of that too. I hope you like it.
Hi Vicky and Kittie! I am up. I woke up about 3:30 too, but didn't think anyone else would be so crazy to be up this early! I've gotta make time for a nap today!
Oh this sounds fun and easy Jen. I almost never use birthday images! Perfect challenge to catch up on the missed challenges this week. I'm starting to feel like I could stamp so thanks for the challenge!
Oh this one is easy! I just had to do Larry's 6 birthday cards, and all but one of them say Happy Birthday on the front!
I posted these yesterday..gee, now I think I should have waited..lol!
These ones are my favorites though!

She probably used one of the new hostess sets and they are going into a sub gallery for demos right now! The only ones that can be viewed are the new summer mini!
Here is a slider card I made for my little grandson, Logan last week. He loved it! I will make more and post later on today...gotta go work on my pool this am.

I couldn't get the link to work either. I went to her gallery, however, and I think this great beer card is what she intended to post:
