Arrow SBSC41 Oh YEAH!There is a SURPRISE INSIDE!

Good Morning Scrampers! Are you ready for a little surprise? Please welcome my partner in all things scrappy(for this week), Kimmie (kimreid_stamper). *applause*

Kimmie and I chose some fabulous layouts from our very own SCS Gallery of talented scrapbook artists as our Inspirational Sketches for this week...aka: VISUAL SKETCHES!

The official RULES can be found HERE !

REMINDER: Next week there will be *NO* SKETCH CHALLENGE's posted due to the VSBN Enchanted Weekend!

Thank you for supporting Jen70's VSH last week.Next get ready to break out your fairy stamps and fairy dust for VSBN! I can't wait to see a gallery full of SB Pages when I get home from CKC on Sunday. :-D

Feel free to adjust the sketches as you see fit...Be as creative as you want to be! Remember there is no time limit! Oh and make sure you upload your layouts using the code: SBSC41...Many Thanks!

I don't know about you ladies, but I get so much inspiration from looking through the gallery and seeing all the awesome pages from our very own SCS'ers! I sometimes can relate to a finished layout much better than I can just a sketch. I think having it all laid out just makes it easier, but that could just be me!

I love pages with a lot of pictures, in case you hadn't noticed that in my gallery already!!! So this layout by kellyslattery really jumped out at me!! I hope you are as inspired by it as I am and I can't wait to see what you come up with!!! Now you don't have to include the same number of pictures...some spots can be embellishments if you like. But I really like the feel of the full pages!! Now, go to it!! ~Kim~

blue lake by kellyslattery (Visual Sketch #1)

I chose a layout by luvs2stamp! I love the way she did her photos and that she didn't mat all of them on the 2nd page. It creates a bit of interest and showcases her main photos. Get scrampin chicka's!~Tracy~

park pals by luvs2stamp (Visual Sketch #2)

AS ALWAYS, PLEASE OBSERVE NO UPLOAD SUNDAY for our hard working MODS!! Give a girl a break!;)

Come on Ladies...Let's get SCRAPPY! Have a blessed and beautiful weekend!

Hugz, ~T~

Woo! Hoo! I am the first poster!

Probably because it is 3 AM on my half of the country!

Any ways.....

I am really GONNA PUSH MYSELF to do the blue lake sketch. I get so tired out of ideas (in books mainly and magazines) with only one picture. Lord knows we take at least 50 of DD anytime she does anything.

Hmmm.... Maybe I should do TWO!

Will try the other sketch too, if I have any energy left after working hard on the first one

GOOD MORNING! I didn't expect anyone to post so soon as it is 2'ish at my hacienda! I too love to do some layouts with tons of pics...You are so right ....we take TONS of photos and it is difficult to scrap them all. I almost chose a layout with tons of pics on it but decided against it since VSBN is coming up so soon! I am sure some of you gals are saving up for it. Have fun!

Ohhh I like these! Especially since they do have lots of pics in them! I am with you on that Tracy about getting lots of pics on a page. I have a hard time making them look nice so these sketches are great! (All of them that have been posted are great, I just relate to the "more on a page" better!)

I think I'm the first to finish one!

Sketch Challenge 41 - Sketch #2

I didn't have quite as many photos so I changed the right side of the layout to accomodate my lower number.

I used the left side of the first sketch and really like it. I'm headed off to do the other sketch or this one both sides.

Good morning everyone - Just getting up and about this morning on the West coast. It is suppose to be cool and rainy today so it will be a great day to go through the pics and get lots to scrap. Love the layouts and I too take way to many pics and have to be selective, so today I will see what I can create.
Great Challenge!!

Amanda, I agree with you about the sketch being out of your comfort zone. It's a lot more pictures than I usually use, and my style is much more linear. But I'm going to give it a try I have pictures and paper all picked out. Worked on last weeks challenges today.

I think it is very good to sometimes stray from your "norm". It is just SO hard to do and not try to change everything, LOL!

Used one side of each! First page is the right side of second sketch, rotated, and the second page is the right side of the first sketch. Pictures I wanted to have in my album, not nothing great - no fabulous pictures! But sometimes, those need to be scrapped, too! Right?

Good morning everyone. The sketch layouts so far this week are great. I was actually able to get two layouts done this weekend but am going to load them later as the site is slow this morning.

Here are my pages. I discovered that I had not done Easter 2005 yet so I decided to do double page layouts and title each page so I could split the pages for each of my grandchildrens albums. I am still working on 2006 for the girls. My grandsons page loosely follows Sketch #1 as does the girls pages. The third layout does not follow either sketch but does have a lot of pictures. Besides I love this layout and wanted to share.
