Today's way's to use it challenge was inspired by a rak I received in the mail this week and an unopened package of twill tape that I bought last month. This week your challenge is to find different way's to use Twill Tape on your work. If you don't already have some and you want to play...Wal-mart or a fabric store will probably have some.
Please remember to put WT57 in your keyword section when you upload and post a link back here. I'm making this post very short as I have a cranky crying baby here!
Here is a link to Pink-Fish's twill butterfly card...
I too have had some for quite a while! :0
It's spring break for the kiddos this week so the challenges have been well...a challenge!!! I hope to catch up sometime soon!!!! thanks ladies for all the inspiration, I have notes all over the place for when I finally get to play with my own toys!!!
I have an unopened package of twill that I bought in July '05!! Y'know why I haven't used it? There's just a little bit of each width!! I wish they sold them separately. I guess I've been hoarding it. I'll try to open the package today! <g>

Just want this weekly challenge is all about! Get them out and get using them!
Julia~ great challenge! I love twill, it so fun to stamp on and/or color! That card of pink-fish's is so creative, I can see why it was an inspiration! I had this one in my gallery, hope I can get to play today~ Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Great Challenge Julia! Only problem is... I've never ordered it. :(
I have errands to run so I'll see if I can find some. I hope I do because I really want to participate today!
I had this image stamped & colored & with pattern paper, this went together really fast. I combined this with the sketch challenge. Here's twill & toile.
Location: My very hot stamp room, in Phoenix! It's a dry heat.

I'm not sure how well this worked, but I had the idea, so . . . here you go! I like the twill tape part, just not sure about the card. What do you think?
Susan--pull that twill out!!! I was hoarding it too for awhile so I ordered a second package so the anxiety of running out was gone, LOL. I have found tho, that there is much more there than you think. I have used it several times, all widths and have yet to run out.
I did 2, the first one came out kinda funky, not so sure I like it, not my style. Then I did a simpler one and like it better.

For those of you asking (and those who don''t, but want to know)...
These are some great instructions for changing a link, which StamperSharon generously shared with me.
I forget where it was posted that taught me how to do it, or I would link you to it, but its easy.
Since theyve updated the site, now when replying to a post you need to choose the Reply button at the bottom of the posts, to the left of the page numbers (if there are that many pages of posts). You can do these special links if you choose the Post a Quick Reply button at the VERY bottom of the page. Well you can, but there are more steps involved!
Then just type your text like: "Heres my Eggplant card" and highlight with your curser the word you want to have the link embedded in like "Eggplant". Then click on the Insert Link button (it looks like a blue world with a chain link in front of it) under the smiley face at the top of the posting area where all the text formatting buttons are. When the hyperlink box comes up, paste the link of the item you want to link to in that hyperlink URL box. In order to do that, you need to either have copied your link previously (before coming to this screen) or have 2 screens open and can go back to the screen with the item on it that you want to link to. To copy the link of that item, just highlight the address that shows in your browser line at the top of the website page. Just make sure when you paste the link into the hyperlink URL box that you dont have 2 "http" in the URL box or the link may not work. Then click OK and your text will be highlighted and now be a hyperlink! You can then change the color of the text, if you want.
You can do this same process with your signature, too!
