Multiple issues viewing galleries on mobile / Ipad
I'm not usually technically challenged but I can no longer get into the individual set galleries. It just keeps taking me to a page to upload a card. What am I doing wrong? It happens on my laptop, tablet and phone! Please help!!!
It's whatever spellcheck turned SU into, via a major operation ;-).
Hence the "surgery" is part of the major operation! LOL! I just couldn't figure it out! I thought it might possibly be an autocorrect thing, but just wasn't sure what surgery might have been before it was highjacked!

Someone just someone just posted about this on Stampin Connection, so I came to check out the galleries, and I am having the same problem.
I am unable to access the recent uploads on the gallery page using my iPad or iPhone. At this time I can access with my computer.
When I tap on last day, 7 days or 14 days on the gallery site I get routed to a page that says "Upload a Card" and then has various other menu items below.
I tried to take a take a screen shot of the page to include in this post, but apparently since this is the first time I have posted, I am restricted from including any pictures/url in my post.:
I would like to know if anyone else if having the same access problem with their mobile devices. I don't know if this is a problem with the website or with my mobile devices. Thanks for any feedback!:p
That's weird because I've had no problems either on my phone or my PC. It's always helpful to the tech support if you mention what platform (Windows and version, iOs) and what browser you are using when experiencing difficulties.
I seem to be able to get to the galleries fine on my laptop, but it's still not working on my iPad (iOS version 10.3.3) using Safari. Here is the pathway I am following:
Gallery > Stampin' Up! > Stampin' Up! Sets A-B (or any of the alphabetical categories)

What opens is this page in the screenshot below.
This is what I get on my Ipad. My desktop has the usual gallery but now always reverts to 12 from 48 and I get blank pages when I open a new window.

That is an issue many of us are experiencing! Lydia has said that tech support have been able to reproduce the blank pages and working on it. She hasn't given an update on the gallery defaulting to 12, I don't think.
Lydia, not sure where to put this, but since it's related to how things show up, now when I log in (iPad/Safari), the entire board shrinks and there's a huge amount of gray space with one tiny strip showing to the right.
Seems like the website dislikes iPads more and more. You didn't say the ability to insert photos into threads was fixed, so this probably won't work but here's an attempt to show you in case it does work.
I know many are having issues. I think its been reported but they don't usually work over weekends. Hang in there!
If you are a fan club member you can upload over the weekend, all others have to wait for moderators to approve upload. Is that what you were talking about or are you saying you couldn't get on to view galleries?
I know I was having issues a couple of days ago trying to look at cards in a specific SU set. It kept me in a mobile device mode and wouldn't show any cards. Figured it was something weird going on with my internet provider, which has been a chronic problem the past week or so.
My issue is I want to look at card samples in the SU Mini-catalogue section of the gallery. When I click on it, an upload page comes up but nothing with the mini catalogue stamp sets. I am on my iPad, not my laptop. Does that have anything to do with it?

No, they are having trouble getting in to view SU galleries. I'm not having trouble, but others have reported it.
I neglected to mention that I use an iPad, as well, and experienced the issues you all have mentioned (not being able to view cards in galleries of specific SU stamp sets).
I view the SU! galleries on my iPad almost every day and I had the same problem many others have noticed. I think the problem only occurs on mobile devices that are somehow getting switched to the "View Mobile Site" option that appears at the bottom of the page when you are viewing one of the galleries on a mobile device.
While the tech support team figures out what is happening, try following these steps I discovered through a lot of random tapping to regain access to the full galleries:
1. Select the Gallery Home Page option appearing under "Navigate to" on your screen, then choose the Stampin' Up! galleries and SU Minis & Creative Crew Cards & More gallery in that order.
2. Tap on the icon displaying a large letter S that is labeled Mini Catalog Category.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap on the option to "View Full Site".
You will now be able to view all of the stamp set categories when you open one of the SU! galleries if the steps listed above work for you the same way they did for me.
Yes - I'm moving this because it's not related. However, it's related to the fact that the mobile template basically broke the gallery. So they are working on a fix.
I do not know when that will be fixed but it's been reported.
I've merged all of these posts into one thread - they are all related to the mobile gallery, which they are working on fixing. No need to report additional issues with mobile - we realize that basically the entire gallery is broken on mobile. Until it is fixed, your best bet is the desktop version.
Lydia, is it 100% fixed? I see the gallery photos by individuals very differently now using my iPad/Safari.
In individual member's galleries it used to show four photos going across the page horizontally, and you could scroll down to see many more rows of four - nice sized thumbnails. And if I go to Gallery it's still like that.
But if I go to anyone's individual gallery, I can only see two across, much larger, with ads at the bottom and and middle, and a little funky ad thing to the right. I'll show a screenshot of mine as an example; I tested it with three other member's galleries.

Yes - it's designed to be different - a single photo feed like Instagram.
Not sure why you are seeing two - I see a single column.
It was wonderful being able to see 4 photos across with scrolling quickly down - you can see so many more that way than 1 at a time or 2 at a time that are much larger. I love skimming through galleries but it would take so much longer to scan through a bunch.
And sorry I cut off the top. I'll show it again. It's the first (and only) page in my gallery: bjeans's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
But they're all like mine.
Whether it's single or double, it's slower to navigate since you don't see as many thumbnails at once, don't you think? I don't understand if it's an "on purpose" change.
Seeing eight at a time on an mini iPad is really nice. Seeing two at a time - or one sometimes due to the huge ad - means it's so much harder to find one you may be looking for, or you just have to scroll and scroll and scroll. But maybe I'm in the minority not liking it?

I figured it was a glitch.
Same thing with me. I'm hoping it's a glitch. You are not in the minority.
Ugh! When I made my comment earlier in this thread, my viewing had gone back to the way it always was....now when I check galleries the page view on my iPad is 2 images wide. I really don't care to have what appears to be "mobile version" on my regular sized iPad. Full page view was much more useable...
Another glitch (or intentional change?) that is annoying beyond belief is to bring up scs main page and is now shrunk down to half the width of my iPad screen. The font is so tiny that it is impossible to hit the correct link with a fingertip. I now have to either enlarge the screen manually on the iPad, or have a stylus ready to use.
I used to check SCS multiple times a day, just to see what was new and surf the galleries. My views have dropped dramatically strictly because it is not as easy or fun to use. Just my thoughts on it...
