Lisa here as your hostess for this weeks WTUI challenge.
Over the last couple of months I have slowly started converting my stamped images off wood blocks. I was finding I would only use stamps if I could use them in my Misti and knew I had a bunch of great old stamps that I wanted to use. As I was converting them I said I want to make a card out of so many of the stamps. Today we are using Oldie but Goodie stamps. So dig in your stashes and find an old stamp that you love. Please tell us how long you have had the stamp.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
We have fantastic cards this week from the very creative team. Please see Sabrina's, Carla's and Cathy's beautiful cards.
had fun using this stamp- have used this set about 2 to 3 years ago- I added some adhesive gems, distressing, and yellow fabric strips. Here's Halloween Greeting

Had to make two cards for your fun challenge, Lisa. I bought a set of seasonal landscape stamps over 12 years ago. The Fall and Winter are the same scene, so I decided to use both stamps. Here are my cards.

Lisa this was a great challenge today!! I remember 5 years ago my very first card I ever made was with a Gibson Girl on it for my cousin's birthday. Although back then it was a digi, I have since got a stamp of her.

I have oldies that I love and won't get rid of. I've had the time, but can't seem to find my mojo today. My DH and I are just about finished getting ready for Irma. Shutters all up but a couple to let in light, water check, food check, lanai almost cleared off and two cars squeezed into the garage.
Have fun everyone, I am really enjoying looking at all of the wonderful cards today.
Here's a nice set that has been gathering dust- A Nice Cuppa and matching dies- found this kit in my stash drawer, added a teabag- to give to my friend Cheryl who I see soon for a visit. Here's Tea-rrific

This was a fun challenge, Lisa. We should do this more often. I found other sets that were neglected. Here's my card.

I was hoping someone was going to do a challenge of the oldie but goodie. Got the 5th Ave. Floral when it was retiring and I was just getting into stamping. Don't think it has seen ink till now, lol....
Woohoo - I'm finally back home after visiting family for the past month. I got a slow start stamping today and it almost feels a little alien after so long away!! Hopefully I'll be back on track in the next week or so - I have missed creating with you all!
I've had this really old stamp since 1996, and it is classified as vintage, because it was made in 1995 by a company no long in existence: Personal Stamp Exchange (aka PSX stamp) - K-1660: Dasher, Dash Away All! How I came to have it 12 years before I even officially became a cardmaker is a story that I post in my gallery and in my BLOG.
I was determined to use this stamp this year for a Christmas card, because I've always wanted to, and it's been a long time coming. So, I was VERY excited when I saw this week's theme for WTUI. Take a peek at my finished card: Christmas Card from an Oldie But Goodie!

It's not only great seeing some old and favorite images, but the amazing cards produced in this challenge show how much we all really do love and respect our particular fav stamps. There are so many drop dead stunning cards in the gallery!

Love this challenge as it's so much fun to get out an old stamp so did a second card for it using an even older stamp set than in my first card. Here it is:
