MISTI Monday August 2017
Challenge Title: Framing with the MISTIHostess: MISTI Monday
Keyword: MSP1
Date: Monday, August 7
Welcome to a brand new monthly challenge! The first Monday of every month will be a challenge dedicated to the wonderful stamp positioning tool, the MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented, by My Sweet Petunia).
Today's challenge is inspired by turnabout stamping. Because I do not own any turnabout stamps (stamps that produce images in steps by taking your paper and making quarter turns in between impressing), I use my MISTI to take my ordinary stamps and turn them into a frame or background.
Attached are some quick photos to show how I created my frame using 3 different stamps and my MINI MISTI for positioning them straight.
Once I placed my stamp where I wanted, I left it in the same spot, stamped it, turned the paper a quarter turn and then repeated until all sides were stamped. I continued with the other stamps to form the frame. This took no time at all and produced a frame that looks like I stamped it with a single stamp. The last photo is my completed card.
Your challenge is to create a card, using your MISTI, to make a frame. Good luck! I hope you enjoy this process as much as I did. It's something I wouldn't be able to do without the use of the MISTI.

This was a fun technique. Please do not put my name in the lucky draw for a MISTI. I am lucky enough to own two already. MISTI is my most treasure and loved tool. Here's my card.

Here is my card I made for this challenge...the only chance I have to win is if the prize is given randomly...I do not know how to fully use the MISTI but I enjoy using it often.

Hi Judy, all you have to do is COPY the URL of your card, then come back here, type something in the quick reply box and PASTE your URL here. Your card is terrific and a great way to start your SCS gallery. Your card does appear in the MSP1 gallery.
