So I just got a pack of the new Quilted Christmas 6 x 6 paper stack and see first hand that it is not in tablet form. All the sheets are loose. Anyone have an idea to share on how you are storing it? I know the colors are listed on the outside of the wrapping, but will be a pain to keep putting it back in that wrapping, plus mess up corners most likely. Won't really work in a baggie because they won't stack very well.
I personally like paper that I do not have to take out of a pad because, I am not bending the sheets trying to remove it so, I tend to disassemble the pads and I store them loosely sorted by the most dominant color when I squint at the sheet in hanging file folders in a metal file cabinet drawer. ( with scraps of larger sheets) but, I look for things based on color more than any other way.
Just checking - are you a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator? Customers can't get the paper yet, that's why I'm asking. There is a Demo Forum here on this site where you could ask questions like that and only demos would see it. Just trying to help.
well living in Western Canada, I love Purdys chocolates, and I discovered that my 6x6 papers fit perfectly in one of their 205g boxes. My only problem is that box is full now so I am going to have to purchase more Purdys now ;) I realize this solution doesn't work for everyone, but I suggest getting some chipboard and making a box (if you can't find one) use 1" pieces of cardstock scored in half to use to hold the pieces together. I have also seen square gift boxes for sale in our dollar store, so check there and see if the dimensions might fit?
Lynkim, wow, love that! You must go buy chocolate because you MUST have the box as a storage container. Wish I could find that here in Southern California! What a great help you are! LOL!
This is what I've just started using... basically a mini version of the large IRIS 12x12 cases for storing scrapbook size paper. They now have it for 6x6 papers. This works for me for now because I don't have too much 6x6 paper that are not in pads and it keeps the corners safe. But ideally if paper is going to be loose - I could store the papers vertically so I could easily flip through them. Here is the link...
I like to keep my paper stored vertically so that I can flip through more easily. Some are in pads and some are loose; they're all on a shelf together, leaning against a small white 4 drawer unit where I keep my scraps.

FYI, quart size ziploc bags are usually 7x8". I keep my 6x6 pads in some baskets I got at bath and body works a while ago, but I recently started keeping each pad in a ziploc so I can keep better track of the scraps, and for when the pads separate.
If you have one of the Card Tins from last SAB, they fit nicely and you can flip through them easily. But the lid doesn't fit back on. And you need to keep them in the plastic wrap so scraps don't get lost - or make an envelope for the scraps? Trying to decide on how to store these myself.

This is what I do, too, and I love it. It is so nice to not have scraps floating around everywhere, and with them being kept with its pack, I always attempt to use those up first. I do this with cardstock, too, and my scraps are always under control.

Yes! Something to do with those envelopes I've been saving! I wouldn't have thought they were wide enough.
I keep my 6 X 6 pads in Qt. zippie bags within a small plastic 'crate' similar to the large stackable crate/cubes seen in lots of colors. But since my spell-check seems insistent that I use 'hippie' bags ... I'll clarify that my bags are just plain & clear. ;)
