When I found this Pinterest board I put it right into my growing backlog of sites. It's a really cool board called Rock Art by Nayler. Let's see if we can find new inspiration this week through these beautiful images from talented artists! They have convinced me that people can create art from anything, anywhere, and this inspiration board is proof of that. So whether you choose to stamp on a rock this week, or just to create a spectacular new card design inspired by these funky rocks; I'm sure you'll have as much fun as I did either way!
Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because it looks like an image on the board. Rather, take the real challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow again, and creating something brand new for the gallery!
Use the keyword: IC608 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include links from our inspiration board:Rock Art by Nayler.

For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

I love these painted rocks. They remind me of a rock my mom painted years ago (before the current fad) of a frog. She had it sitting on a table in her kitchen for years. I wish I knew what happened to it. Anyway, here's my card:
Sometimes I take inspirations way too literally. I painted a rock, lol, then had a butterfly flying in, or out, of the secret world inside. Fun challenge!
I was about to try a DTGD challenge...my first ever. Before I started, I wanted to catch up with any challenges going on that might help me with thoughts about my card. I had already decided on the theme of my card, but I needed ideas for colors on my background. I though I'd take a look at the beautiful rock coloring and I found one that confirmed my thoughts, agreeing with the Color Challenge as well...blue, yellow, and green would be it. Here is the link to the rock art I chose: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/171629435774087165/ and here is my finished card: DTGD17UnderstandBlueA - Anniversary Twosome Sail With the Breeze!
