Mandatory Table Project (aka shoebox) - We generally have about 12 to 15 participants, so we will plan to do everyone's project. Please bring the appropriate amount of kits (to be determined once registrations are finalized) with all paper, ink, stamps and tools required. I will furnish a Big Shot. A gentle reminder: Please leave some work for us to do. At recent swaps there have been some projects with everything already stamped. WE WANT to create so leave some stamping for us. ALSO it is a copyright infringement to photocopy protected artwork, so please DO NOT photocopy images to be used.
When our final count is in, you will know how many kits will be needed. You will also need 2 completed samples. One is used for the sample board and one will be an example at the table.Extra parts to fix any "oops" should also be provided. Please prepare 9 kits

Still don't know. Our employee's return date from medical leave has been pushed one more week to maybe July 17. He still has brain fog and needs naps. If he returns to cover tha shop then we plan to go on vacation. If he doesn't return to work then I could attend. So we are waiting, waiting, waiting...
Sorry, still don't know about our vacation in Aug. I need to discuss it with hubby when he wakes up this morning. It seems that vacation may be cancelled and if it is I could attend the gathering. Our employee's return to work has been delayed until at least July 24 and I expect he will only be half days. He says his brain is still foggy from the anesthesia and drugs from his intestinal surgery and his wife says he naps 3-4 hours daily so that doesn't sound like someone we want to leave alone at work for 10 days. We tend to think he should just stay home until his reconnection surgery that will hopefully be done at the end of August. Not a fun way to spend his summer! On the bright side, he can sit outside during the daytime...when it's not raining!
I will let you know ASAP, Diane, since today is the deadline.
Diane, a thought...
Since we are going to be a small (buy mighty) group, how about not doing the "completed" swaps, and instead bring 2 shoebox projects each (or just the more veteran members)?
Judy I think that's a good idea. How about the No Posies allowed as the second shoebox??? I was really hoping to see some cool stuff there. Thoughts everyone?
The no flowers swap. Like would a few people like to do a second shoebox based on what they might have done for the no flowers swap?
Well, what I was thinking is that since the numbers of those who want to participate in the completed swaps are so small, we could not do any of those swaps, and instead bring an extra shoebox. Of course we could have a theme for the extra shoebox, and No Posies is good for me. Just a suggestion .
Opps! Guess I will stop working on the swap I started and wait to see what the final decision is. I am OK with preparing two shoeboxes and NOT doing any swaps.
