Happy Monday, everybody!!
Here's a fun and easy technique which was featured in the Weekly Inkling back in the summer of 2016, but which still hasn't made it into the TLC challenge. There's a fabulous TUTORIAL in our Resources section by ruby-heartedmom (Beverly) - and if that doesn't inspire you already, check out the Plaid Backgrounds Gallery for some more inspiration. Then get our your markers and play. Great technique for fun summer backgrounds; equally cool for those working ahead towards Christmas . I found the tip to practice first was great!
I'd love to have had enough chisel tip markers to try with this technique, but I had to make do with Marvy LePlumes held at a very shallow angle to get a wide line.
 Remember to use the keyword TLC647 when you are uploading. It's helpful (to the hostesses for sure!) if you come back and leave a link on this thread .
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
