Hello Technique Lovers!
Today's technique follows the easy tutorial,
CARDBOARD ROLL ALBUM, by Areli Johnson. However,
you do not need to make an entire album for today's technique - just a cover. Once you have the cover, you will probably love completing the album, as it's rather addicting! While the tutorial used toilet paper rolls, you are welcome to use other sizes of cardboard rolls -- from paper towels, or wrapping paper, or whatever rolls you might have -- and cut them to the size you want. My sample uses a paper towel roll, cut a little smaller.
Decorate them as you wish - with patterned paper, or inks and stamps, or a digital kit, as my sample shows. Or maybe you want to ink up the edges and use lace or ribbon, or that hoard of embellishments or chipboard that need to see the light of day! Whatever you like! You can paint the roll, as in the tutorial, or not. Add inserts or not. You can make it portrait (my sample) or landscape (tutorial). Let's just see your pretty cover!
