HOLY SMOKIES IT'S HOT here in the PNW!!!!!! SO.... this weeks challenge fits right in.... Make a card showing SUMMER TIME... SUPER easy, make a HOT HOT HOT card, one with a beach, color combo (combine with Color challenge), shoot, color an image showing a SUNBURN! :mrgreen:

I'm here at work in the middle of a 119 hour work WEEK!!!!!! :shock:
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS379 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenge.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your project is seen.

You know it's WAY too hot when the weatherman warns about going outside even at night because the temps MIGHT get down to 100 degrees by midnight!! I had to laugh last night when the newsman predicted that a "cold front" was coming through and it would ONLY get up to 107 today! Great challenge, thank you! I went with warm weather colors for my card, using a window pane style treatment, and leaving some portions uncolored for contrast. Added some embellies for fun. Here's wonderful friend

Was inspired by the summertime challenge (FS542) and also our FS AJ's card Holy Cow - went with a milk and cookies theme, using a nested circle die for my 2 circular elements. Added some sponging for my background, and some ribbon and a fabric tie. Here's milk and cookies

This week's Summertime challenge worked well with the color challenge- so I combined the two, using a sponged, then erased background for my woman with an umbrella. Added some vertical scallops freehand, and a trio of pennants. Here's missing you
