Cost, due by September 6th: Friday & Saturday - $65.00 Friday night only - $25.00 Saturday all day only - $45.00
*There will be 12 group projects provided � 4 on Friday nightand 8 on Saturday.
*We are doing shoebox projects both Friday night and Saturday, please see the requirements for shoebox projects below. If you are attending Friday night and Saturday, you will need to prepare a shoebox project for each day.
Over night accomodations:
The agreement for the block of hotel rooms at the Raddison Suties has been signed and you can now reserve your room. The room configurations are either two queen beds or one king and a pull out sofa. The price for either will be $79 per night. You must make your reservations by 8/22/17 to lock in this rate. Reservations made after that date will be subject to availability. Our agreement currently has 15 rooms (7 are already spoken for!) and we can add more if we need to. Please let me know when you have booked so I can add more rooms if we need to. When you book, mention our group name SCS Flower City Gathering, for the proper pricing.

Shoebox Project Information:
This is the only mandatory part of the day which will take place first on ourschedule
**Please have your shoebox completely prepared and ready to go when you arrivefor the gathering. Unfortunately, I have had complaints in past years of peoplenot having their shoebox projects ready for their tablemates to work on, makingthis reminder necessary. If you don't arrive with a completed and ready to goshoebox project, your tablemates are not obligated to allow you to do theproject they have prepared. Being prepared means having all of the elements ofyour pre planned project prepared and ready for your tablemates. Tossing abunch of random supplies on the table and instructing people to "createwhatever they would like" is not acceptable. Please be considerate ofothers and extend the courtesy of having your shoebox project ready when youarrive. Thanks!!**
*Your shoebox project can be anything stamped*
� If you are making a card, we will make FULL cards using at least oneembellishment (ribbon, brads, buttons, etc).
� Quality CS is a MUST!
� Please have all card pieces pre-cut.
� Please bring stamps or other items for your project
� Please include instructions (aka: recipes), tips and any other important information.
� Please bring 6 extra completed shoe box projects. You will use one as yoursample at your table, two for hostess gifts and three for door prizes. Several people commented last year that theywould like to bring a couple more prepared shoebox projects for door prizes, sothis year we will have three complete sets of shoebox projects to use as doorprizes.
� You may make other projects keeping in mind it should not take more than10-12 minutes to complete.
� We estimate having approx. 8 people at each table and will give final numbers when we have a final count.
Swaps
Please follow the requirements below and if you are joining the SU only, pleaseuse only current SU products. We consider current SU product as product in anySU catalog that is current up until the date of the gathering. Please note that if you sign up for a swapand do not fulfill your commitment, you will not receive any swaps from theothers in your group.
We will have 6 swaps:
1. Card front � SU only
2. Card Front � NVR
3. 6x6 recipe swap
4. ATC � Artist Trading Card
5. 3D Item swap
6. Rolodex card swap (card size will be 4 x 2 5/8 � the same size as theSU!/Sizzix Big Shot die)
Swaps are not mandatory � you may participate in as few or as many as you wouldlike. Please remember to showcase your best work using quality products. Youmust use at least two layers and one embellishment on each swap � thanks!!
Handmade Gift Exchange
There has been discussion in the past year or two regarding the handmade giftexchange. Several have asked if we couldchange to ANY handmade gift vs. a paper crafted gift. We are going to give trial run this year forANY handmade gift and see how it goes. To clarify, you may still bring a paper crafted handmade gift to exchange if you choose, however any handmade gift isacceptable. We can discuss at thegathering what we would prefer in the future. Forthose wishing to participate, please bring a handmade gift with a value ofapprox. $5.00. Please be sure your gift is wrapped with your name so the person who receives it knows who to thank!!
Donations
We will again be collecting school supplies for a local elementary school.

*adhesive, both wet and dry
*pop dots or foam dots
*cutting tool with scoring blade
*heavy duty adhesive like scor tape or red
sticky strip

We will do a Secret Sister again this year if there is interest. There will be information forms at the registration table for those wishing to participate.
We have attached "Secret Sister Form" below if you would like to complete it prior to the gathering to save time. We have found in past years that we struggle to find time to complete the form at our event. Thanks, Marie, for thinking of this - that what a Mama is for!!
We decided as a group last year that the minimum secret sister requirements are as follows:
-a card on her birthday -one card for each season (winter, spring, summer, fall) -a papercrafted gift with a $5 value at the reveal at next years gathering
We want to keep it simple, so please feel free to do as much as you want, but above would be the minimum.
If you have a Secret Sister from last years gathering, please don't forget to bring her a paper crafted gift as stated above for our reveal!! __________________

With the Garage Sale items - Could we sell this way? For each item to be sold: attach a envelope to the item with the: stamp set name, selling price and owner name.Then when someone purchases the stamp set they put the $ in the envelope and leaves it on the table. Then later the owner collects their envelopes with any unsold items.

You could do this if you would like. We leave it up to each person as to how they would like to sell their items. In the past, people have just put their items wherever, but setting up a table would be a good ideas and people could use it if they choose. A couple of years ago some garage sale items came up missing and that was discouraging for some - that was the same year that two of my punches ended up missing from group project tables, but luckily we have not had that issue since.

Hi Phyllis,
We are so glad that you are joining us this year! We start out the day with a couple of group projects while people are arriving and having a breakfast treat or two and then move right along to shoe box projects. We have lunch around noon and then the afternoon if filled with more group projects and swapping. We have raffles, a 50/50 and draw numbers for door prizes throughout the day!
