LSC59D SOME SAY SIZE DOESN'T MATTER
SOME SAY SIZE DOESNT MATTER
Keyword: LSC59D
Limit: 3 x 3 gift cards
Stamps: Any or all stamps sets
Cardstock: any
Ink: any
Embellishments: anything
This challenge is to use up some of all those scraps laying around. You can use up some of those short pieces of ribbon you were about to throw away but kept for some reason. 3 x 3 cards are fast, fun, and a great addition to gifts or to say thank you. The possibilities are endless. So your challenge is to create a small 3x3 card into something that makes a BIG statement.
Here is what to do, use a 3x6 folded in half, or a 3x3 base. The card must open somehow. Embellish at will, remember it needs to make a BIG statement..
Have fun, I cant wait to see what cards you come up with.
Remember to put LSC59D in the keyword space. Also a prize will be given to a winner at random. Jen said it was ok! So the more you enter the better chance you have to win.
Great challenge, Pam! My stack of scraps continues to grow, so I will look forward to making a (tiny) dent in it! Probably can't get to it until the kids nap (they've already been told that naps are mandatory today).

I told mine the same thing. Only it's in the 80's outside and she want to go out and play!!!
Mine do to. We compromised and had a picnic on the porch & they could play while I watered my flowers (I have several large beds & have to hand-carry the water out, so this was a longer amount of time than it might first sound like).
Thanks for the challenge Pam...I've NEVER done this size card before...but I did do a trading card ONE time. This will be a challenge for me, but I'm here to be challenged!
Welcome HOME, Jeanne!

Looks like fun. I've got to go do some school with DD for awhile, but I'll be back. She and the dog have both been waiting for me to get off the computer today. Finally got the dog walked, now we have to do a little bit of school. I would have given her a holiday today (we homeschool), but she is writing an essay for a contest and it is due tomorrow.
Fun challenge Pam. I love little cards. I ordered a set of each of the colors from the Winter mini but have yet to make one. I used scraps from a card made this morning and it took only minutes. Sweet and easy!
Not wild about mine, but I have run out of 'play time' for today, and I decided to post it anyway. This size is fun.... I must play with it some other time!!
Thanks for the fun challenge! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I'm back from lunch and ready to play some more. I told DH at 1:00 that the next challenge has been posted so we have to hurry and get home...he wasn't amused with that statement like I was!
Great challenge Pam and Ill get to playing!
I had made a mini purse and notebook for a door prize, and this challenge was gave me the motivation and inspiration to actually make some cards for the mini-purse. The 3x3 cards go delightfully with the purse. Thanks for the challenge!
I think this little guy was much more difficult to put together than a regular size card. Maybe that would get easier, but I think this took me way too long. Here's thanks in blue.
I don't remember ever making a 3X3 card. I really like this size. And I started and couldn't stop. Kittie's adorable envelope card started me thinking. Thanks Kittie.

Okay, here's my first attempt at this one. It looks like there is something on the card, but it's dirt on the scanner bed. This was a quick card to make: tiny grateful roses
