You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Ok, so first off I want to say that you don't have to be a "scrap-booker" (is that even a word?) to play in this weeks challenge using the very inspiring Scrapbook Projects Pinterest Board by Studio Calico. You may totally kill me though, because there are over 300 inspiring images! If this overwhelms you; no worries! I've uploaded 12 samples below just for you! This way you can just focus on them. Also, although I created a sample card for the challenge, I will also be posting a scrapbook page on Saturday or Sunday since I've got boxes of photos waiting for some attention-LOL. It will be fun to play along with everyone else too. Scrapbook pages are a wonderful way of documenting memories, but they are also often made up of several good card design principles too! That's why I will sometimes use Project Life cards for greeting cards. That's your bonus challenge: try creating a card using Project Life products! Whatever you do, enjoy it! I'm looking forward to seeing what you create!
My Fun Sample Card! (for a sweet little girl I met yesterday)
Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because it looks like an image on the board. Rather, take the real challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow again, and creating something brand new for the gallery!
Use the keyword: IC603 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project, being sure to only include links from our inspiration site the Scrapbooks Project board by Studio Calico!
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 12 of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Reason: add another link
I was inspired by this Merry & Bright Christmas box/bookand used 2 vintage SU stamps for my winter card, with a mitten image propped on a dimensional for my card clasp, finished with a pink twine tie- here's the outside- and here's the inside with a sponged background, vertical fabric strips, and a snowman.

Great resource for anyone wanting to do some scrapbook layouts. Unfortunately, I'm not a scrapbooker, but I enjoyed looking at the board. I actually made two cards using the same layout for inspiration.
Thanks, Audrie for a wonderful site today. I started my paper crafting hobby doing scrapbooking. Trends sure have changed, but the concept is still the same. My favorite part was jounaling......saved memories for years to come. This is my take for a card today. IC603 Score lines by Holstein - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Inspired by the browns and yellows, along with the bold sentiment from this Calico Studios scrapbook page- I re-purposed a cold drink to go cup, adding a mediterranean scene, along with a reverse cut heart, and a washi tape border. Finished with a yarn/twine combo. Here's Sip Coffee

Here's mine ~ I didn't have time to browse the board unfortunately, so I chose one of your thumbnails as my inspiration. Thanks, as always, for a great challenge!
Super fun challenge! I started to make a card, but decided to take the time to do a scrapbook page, since I do not make enough of those. Thanks, Audrie!!
(The advanced feature for the links is not working, so here is a link to my scrapbook page: I Love Coffee!)
OK, I couldn't resist, had to do one of the other two pins that inspired me. That third one might be made at some point as well, who knows? Fun site Audrey, thank you!
