The article doesn't apply since I'm on an iPad using Safari, didn't change my settings, and don't use a bookmark - though as soon as I type "s" or "sp" the URL for SCS pops up. (Cookies are set for "allow cookies from websites I visit," as always.)
This is a recent phenomenon. Sometimes I'm recognized; sometimes not.

Reason: cookies
I agree it's cookie related, but my settings haven't changed and it isn't happening elsewhere. But if there's nothing to check on the SCS side, I'll survive.
The reason I've asked more than once is partly because of an "e-situation" elsewhere. We have season baseball tickets and weren't getting season ticket holder emails from the organization. I was told repeatedly to check my spam folder (not that I have one), and other basic settings. Nothing helped.
Finally I contacted a different department since we were missing important information, and it turned out that out of many thousands of season ticket holders, four (including us) were somehow coded improperly in the database.
I'm not saying this is on the SCS side of things, just that sometimes what appears to be one thing is another.

My demo friend is having issues on her laptop. She's having to log in each time, she's having issues with ads and she has issues in the gallery. She says she can go to any other site, its only SCS that is throwing fits for her. She has cleared cache, allowed cookies, nothing seems to help her. I think she uses chrome but I don't have any other info. I just tell her to hang in there, that she is not alone.

Hers is definatley not apple or Firefox related.
I feel vindicated. : ) I emailed with an Apple techie I know and he said when it's only one site it's not settings/browser related.
I can leave SCS and 5 minutes later go back in and I'm signed out, but other times it's hours.
I have to log in on my android phone lately, but not on android tablet. Chrome on both. I haven't heard anything recently and my friend is still having major issues on SCS site only so I promised her I would ask if this is still being worked on?
I know know relayed But when the problem where (welcome _user name even not sign in and the other day Sunday it show how new mail had 2 on scs and was not sign in them either And firefox updated version now is 53.0.2 (32-bit. Would you check in to this too. And I hit log out twice to really log out!
I have to log in every morning since I'm at work and they've disabled cookies on our Firefox browser. No biggie - at least they haven't blocked the site entirely! LOL
Anyway - for the past week or two, I've been getting this message after I log in:
Invalid Redirect URL ( http : // splitcoaststampers . com / ) [without all the spaces...I just didn't want it to convert to a link and that's the only way I could figure out how to do that!]
Again, no biggie for me because it's logging me in and when I click on the forum link (or any of the links) at the top of the page I can get to where I want to go. I just thought you'd like to know about the invalid redirect link.
Thanks for everything you do to keep things up and running!!!
Lydia, this may be part of the same issue that will be addressed by the 5/31 fix, but just in case, when I logged in a few minutes ago, I could tell I made a typo in my password. I got the normal message - but look at the top of the screenshot - it logged me in anyway.
I am getting the not staying logged in on firefox.
but, I switched antivirus the last two weeks and at work I am using Chrome and a paid version of the antivirus. ( no problems)
at home I am using firefox and the freebie version of this antivirus. ( was thinking to upgrade it but, have not done it as of yet. it took about 10 hours to download the free one at home)
anyways.
if I log in at home I can type on maybe maybe 3 threads before I have to log in again.
I allow cookies for this site so, its not rejecting it but, it is not keeping it.
so, I am wondering if maybe its the antivirus messing with mine because, prior to this I did not have any being logged out issues anywhere. (on any device) and this all happened after the fix date?

Yes and no. It's related to the security protocol for the login page. So yes, your AV might be in conflict, but in reality - it's a software bug for a secured login page. Both can be true
So... moving from the free trial to the paid version antivirus seems to have fixed my staying logged in issue.
(just in case this is happening to someone else) (that antivirus was blocking "trackers") but, would not in the trial version tell me what or where or allow me to give permission for the site.
I'm accessing SCS using Safari on my IPad and I used to stay logged in. For the past week or so, I need to enter my username and password each time. It's interesting that this started for me after the 5/31 update. Have you heard of others still having this problem?

Safari on an IPad and same sign-in repeats here, plus ads energetically bouncing before settling down nicely in their places, and large gray background blocks at the top sometimes. Like now.
Sometimes it tells me I've entered a wrong password, but says "Hello Beth" at the top of the screen and I'm actually in. Lydia said it's part of the same issue and she knows all.
