Our Inspiration Site this week is filled with magical images by Autumn of the Sew Paper Paint Blog. This blog is absolutely amazing, as it is filled with images that showcase vintage and mixed media art of many kinds and formats; tags, cards, scrapbook pages etc. As you know, I'm still very much a Clean and Simple stamper, but it was really fun to step out of my comfort zone again and try something entirely new! (I even got another chance to play around with the new Oxide inks!) I was very surprised that my friends really liked what I came up with, so I ended up doing several card sets, and a couple of journal pages too! Once you get started it's a lot like that bag of chips - 1 just isn't enough! LOL I'm very confident that you're going to get a kick out of Autumn's fun style, and won't be able to prevent being inspired by the passion she drives into everything she does! Enjoy every minute of the journey; I look forward to seeing where you take this!
Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because it looks like an image on the site. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow again, and creating something brand new for the gallery!
Use the keyword: IC598 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include links from our inspiration site authored by Autumn of the Sew Paper Paint Blog. I will normally pin at least 5 projects to my Ongoing Inspiration Genius Awards Board if you include a link to what inspired you.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Inspired by the floral bouquet under the May 15th post and used Build a Blossom for my watercolor bleed leaves, accented with stickles for sparkle. I added an embossed sentiment from my stamping friends, and a yarn/ribbon embellishment. Here's New Home Roses

Reason: redid hyperlink
went with a spring themed wagon with a blue green wash for my central image, adding a vintage feel with a black and bronze panel. Used ribbon for my bottom trim and mint green fabric for the top of my envelope. Finished with a button/bow combo. Inspired by this lovely flower with the canvas background here

So happy to see you chose Autumn's blog as the inspiration. She is one of my fave mixed media artists and unbelievably sweet. Can't wait to get started! Hugz

I was inspired to make this card, Holiday Coffee, after seeing your wonderful card. Made mine a bit more burgundy/chocolate tones, but it's all about the coffee! Here's Holiday Coffee

I love love the look of the pieces! I love all the embossing, die cuts and mixed media of the cards. I added a little of each to my card. The evergreen tree is colored with distress crayon....one of those things you buy then don't know what to do with it!!
This challenge has helped me to work a little more with the crayons... Happy Birthday Deer
The gallery is AMAZING! I am going to have a hard time with genius awards this week! I will be back to comment on all of them soon. I may have overdone my crafting session yesterday.
The past two weekends I missed my fave challenge since DH and I were on a cruise for our 25th anniversary. What a great challenge today to get me stamping again!!! I loved this so much that I made two cards!!! Thanks, Audrie!!
Oh my gosh, I am absolutely floored to see this post. Thank you each and every one for the CASE love and sweet comments. My heart is overflowing... <3 Hugs, Autumn

Audrie you always have the most interesting inspiration sites and Autumn Clark's is no exception, I chose one of her tutorials, Pearl X Stamping as inspiration. That tutorial is here: SewPaperPaint: Stamping with Pearl Ex Powders Tutorial.
