LSC59E - Mmmmmm....Alphabet Soup!!
LSC59E – Mmmmmm…..Alphabet Soup!!!
I hope you are hungry!! Noooo, you don’t have to eat your stamps, I just couldn’t think of a better title!! Hee hee!
Your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to make a card or scrapbook page using ONLY your alphabets!! You can use patterned paper and any other embellishments you choose. You can also do any technique that you wish, but you can ONLY use alphabet stamps! You can stamp a name, a saying, a holiday, whatever!! You can mix it up and use a bunch of different alphabets, but be creative with it!! And…..okay, ya wore me down…..you can also use background stamps….but that’s it!!!
Hey, this challenge is combining the SU promotions for the next two months!! How funny…..I mean…..ummm….I planned it that way…yeah, that’s it!!
This challenge might help some of those SU demos out there who are concerned about May’s promotion and think that their customers who are only into cardmaking, won’t be too excited about buying alphabets!! Hopefully, with this challenge, you can get some great ideas!!
Keyword: LSC59E
Limit: Alphabet Card or Scrapbook Page
Stamps: only Alphabets and BG stamps
Cardstock: any
Ink: any
Embellishments: any
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
If you need help with uploading your card to the gallery or posting a link, click here!
Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Please put LSC59E in the keyword box when uploading!

May is National Scrapbooking Month and those who have received their Stampin' Success magazine (not me yet :( ), have shared that the promotion for May is: buy an alphabet and numbers, plus a Simply Scrappin' kit and get a 6x6 linen album and 12x12 craft keeper for free!!!
I just thought that some people who make strictly cards and don't scrapbook, wouldn't be too excited about this offer, but hopefully this challenge will make them see differently!! You can do LOTS with alphabets!!!

SWEET! If there's nothing I want on the retired list, I will definately be thinking about that promotion.

Kimmie, great challenge. I have made several cards using mainly alphabets, but never JUST alphabets (& backgrounds). I'm way behind, so maybe I can start doubling up.

Sooo, if I want to catch up I need to make a 3 x 3 card, inspired by junk-mail, using just black ink, for a surprise and only an alphabet stamp set? No problemo......BRB
YEAH RIGHT!!!! (now watch, Jeanne will see this and make one in about 30 seconds, hee-hee)

Here's one from my gallery that ALMOST fits the challenge...the only part that doesn't is the words "my thanks" (because they are actual word stamps...not alphabets...but I could fib and SAY they were alphabet stamps! :-) ) I LOVE how this card turned out. Actually made a duplicate and sent it in for a contest using alphabet stamps.
