Good Evening/Morning Chickadee's!Yes, once again I am ditching all the rules this week! *insert crazy laughter*
PLEASE Feel Free to read SBSC38 for the normal rules information...
I tell ya ladies I am just becoming a professional "sketch lifting" Queen! I just can't seem to resist.
There are 2 sketches this week but they are not size specific...Feel free to adjust them as you see fit...Get creative! Remember there is no time limit!
Just don't forget to upload your fabulous creations using the the code: SBSC40...Thanks!
YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE: I decided last minute to add a tiny little twist (see crazy laughter above ;)! You should have saw this one coming! lol)...
I am inviting you to support Jen70's VSH(Virtual Stamp Holiday) Challenge's...I was up late enough to catch the first one...and I thought it would be fun to incorporate it into our Sketch Challenge this week...LSC59A Surprise!
AS ALWAYS, PLEASE OBSERVE NO UPLOAD SUNDAY for our fantastic MODS!!
You sneaky girl! Always breaking the rules, eh? I see how it is! Great sketches! If we don't do the surprise theme, then do we just upload it with SBSC40 (and omit the "A")? THANKS!

Hi there! Tracy is away today, that's why she posted early. You don't need to include an A onto your sketch challenge keywords, just SBSC40. She just added the limited supply challenge in case anyone wanted to include that in their pages, so if you DO, make sure to put BOTH sets of keywords on your upload! K?? Make sense???

just taking a minute to check if the challenges are posted, these are great sketches.
Wondering though do we need to get it done today for it to be part of the surprise challenge? Not only are we babysitting, but have company on the way and church tonight, so won't get to it today for sure.
Man... I even thought about it being posted early and then forgot to check!!! Great sketches! Hope I can get to play, off to DD's school to help with the Easter party. Now I can get more pictures!!!

No, no Peggy! Not for our scrapbooking challenges, anyway. You have all week!! If you want to join in the Limited Supply Holiday Challenges, they are just doing it for fun and there are no winners, so you can post it to their chat thread anytime too.

Breakin' the rules...Breakin' the rules! OH YEAH!!!
Thanks Kimmie...for clearing up the confusion for me!

Nope, no worries about rushing to get them done. Not like regular VSN or VSBN when we have a timed challenge...These are more laid back and for casual stampin fun! Have a great day, Miss Peggy!

Actually, you can kill two birds with one stone so to speak...If you complete the sketch with the SURPRISE THEME then you can link it to the VSH thread and our SB thread! Upload it using both codes...SBSC40 and LSC59A!
Tracy, I like the variety between the two sketches this week - you can really choose which one best suits your phoots. One works really well if you have lots of photos that can be cropped square and the other has more variety in the size of the photos. (more of those art terms!!! )

Just a quick question - Since I am fairly new to this challenge I need to make sure I understand one thing. - If you choose the 8.5 X 11 or the 12x12 sketch does it have to be a double page layout or can you choose one of the pages and work with that. I do scrapbooks for my 3 grandchildren so I try to keep the layouts to a single 12 X 12 page.

Verda, Glad to have you join us, jump right in. You can do the 8 1/2 x 11 or 12x12 and make it into a 12x12 just do one side. Can't wait to see your pages.
Warm water
3 children, varying sizes
Plenty of water toys
Lots of bubble solution & bubble wands
1 wading pool
Dry towels
On a warm, sunny day, mix all ingredients except dry towels in wading pool. Mix freely and take lots of pictures! When children's lips turn blue or their fingers pucker, they are done. Remove children and dry with towels.
Here's my layout for this challenge. When I couldn't decide what paper colours to use since there were so many different colours in the photos, I looked at my CS and picked a background colour I don't normally use. I like how it turned out with these colours. It took me a very long time to try sewing on paper, but now I love it. It is way easier to keep the paper straight than fabric!!
Here is my entry FINALLY! I wasn't able to get to it this weekend so I did it today. I played with it so I could add alot of photos! I am very happy with how it turned out. I took a bunch of pics so you all could see how I did all the pics!

Gotta scraplift it. I have great pix of little Gracie sleeping in the little pool. I went to get ice cream and mail a swap. Vacationland Post office sucked. And when I got back she was asleep in her raft and Daddy was just chillin' next to her.
Hmmmm.... Sounds like I just got my journalling done!!

Here's mine, finally, not my best page b/c i was limited on time, supplies and a sick baby. I already have my photos picked for the alternate sketch and hopefully I will get to that too but we're moving in less than 2 weeks and this place is still not packed b/c I spend all my time here (ooops). Enough rambling, I'm off to do the other challenge... oh wait, I mean pack. LOL
Karyn, I loved that Easter layout! Good luck packing! Yikes!!
I did the same sketch again with different photos and like the bright colors for DD's 5th birthday. I am going to do the other sketch, but couldn't stay away from this one, I guess!
did the first sketch, also it's part of the Alphabet Soup LSC59E
this is the one where Jennifer didn't have pants on (don't remember why) but DH was able to do some photo touch up in the scan so I don't think anyone will be offended by this.
Here is my second. It took me all week to get this layout done. I wasn't feeling well so, of course, nothing went as I wanted it to. Better late then never.Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
