All of my Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink pads are past deceased at this point and reinkers are nowhere to be bought. I am giving up on them. With great regret. And I don't want to buy the cats eye pads.
I'd like to find a nice pigment ink replacement. I've tried Versamagic and wasn't wild about it. It didn't seem all that opaque to me. How about Memento Luxe? Anyone use it and can you speak to how you feel about it?
Does it stamp cleanly? Can you get detail? Does it take forever to dry?

I have the full set and I love it! Nice vibrant colors and it stamps great! It does take a bit to dry but if you are in a hurry you can zap it with your heat gun.
Another thumbs-up here. I only have the Tuxedo Black and Wedding Dress(white), but love how they stamp. Nice and crisp, and of course because it's a hybrid/pigment, you can heat emboss with EP too. I've used it with detail stamps and have no complaints at all. I did a try out on my blog recently, comparing all my white inkpads. All done on black cardstock. You can see the results HERE.
The colors are gorgeous. I am very tempted. Can't tell you how irritating the whole Colorbox thing was. Loved the ink, couldn't get reinkers. Now the full size pads are all but extinct. I don't get it. It's a fabulous ink.
Okay, time to dry my tears and move on.

I have 21 full size colorbox ink pads I'm about sell on ebay. I made those swatches about 6 months ago. I will definately make sure you they are still pletny "Inky" if you're interested. I'll PM you a message to see you're interested! Here's a picture of them... Catherine

I have 3 pads of it and I feel like they are a little dryer of a pad than the Avery Elle ones. I think it might just be my preference to have a juicier pigment ink pad.
I have them, Lydia! And I have been having fun with them for sure.
Not enough colors, though! They didn't bring out a lot of my faves! I hope more are on the way. In the meantime, I'm mixing in regular Distress to get more variation.
I just yesterday received half a dozen of the Memento Luxe, various colors. I did a big purge recently, and decided I needed to refresh my ink stash with some new choices.

Do pigment inks stamp as solid and bold on images like dye inks do? I have a bunch of the Versacolor Pigment pads in full size - and they are splotchy and uneven! :( Do the Luxe pads stamp a solid image with even color? Thanks so much! - Catherine
I have only used Colorbox Chalks and they stamped very solid. I've never tried the Memento and will give you an update when I do.
I did try the Versacolor some years ago and didn't personally like them. But they have their fans.
Maybe someone else can already answer this.

UPDATE: I received my pads, and played with them this morning.
I was very pleased. They stamped beautifully and very opaquely on white. They stamped beautifully on Kraft. I will be ordering more pads and reinkers for everything.
