It's Thursday, welcome to another Ways to Use It Challenge, WT631~ Aquariums-Windows to Another World. Carla here as this week's hostess and I'm looking for aquarium cards. Big aquariums to little fish bowls, fish, snails, even some octopus. There's so much variety in aquatic life!
Want some dessert? Make them shine, after all, aquariums are made of glass!
Here's some options for shine. Cover your image with a piece of acrylic sheet. Use the Acetate and Tissue technique. Coat it with Glossy Accents. Emboss it with clear ep, ala Bev from her Falliday Fest challenge.
I love visiting the Seattle Aquarium. It's mesmerizing to watch the colorful fish and so interesting to learn more about aquatic life. Biologists at the Seattle Aquarium conduct critical research to contribute to the health of our local marine environment, train and encourage volunteers to increase awareness and conservation of Puget Sound, and reach out to the public to increase their understanding of how everyday actions affect Puget Sound. If you visit Seattle, make it a destination point!
Can't wait to see what you come up with! When you upload your card to the gallery be sure to use WT631 as the keyword. Then come back to this thread and share a link to your card. It makes it easy for people to find you.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY.
5. Come back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Thank you, Sabrina, Lisa and Cathy for the marvelous samples! Here's a link to the WT631~ Aquariums-Windows to Another World gallery. Take a look and leave some love!
I went for your dessert option with this one, and was delighted to be able to try a new technique: WT631 Birthday Under the Sea
We've only visited an aquarium once, in Crete. It was on the site of an old abandoned US army base, so it felt a bit like a ghost town. I remember being mesmerised by the movement of the jellyfish, but that was too hard to recreate. It was also the only time I've seen live seahorses.

had fun using a forgotten rubbernecker stamp for my main image, adding some bright colors, and shine with Stickles. Added a double bow twine tie, and some "sea grass". Here's tropicalfish
