SU demo Tami White posted a UTube video showing some sneak peeks of upcoming items in the next annual catalog. Among the peeks are 3 new In Color stamp pads......Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide & Fresh Fig. She also showed a couple suites/bundles, DSP & a couple misc. items. Customers will be able to order the items in a special bundle pricing May 1st. and also receive a free gift with the bundles. I think that is only good for the month of May.
Here's her vid if interested:
It does take a minute to start playing.
Thanks for sharing. I really like the DSP. Can't wait to see what everyone does with the stamps and dies. I do think the three colors she showed are a bit of a "been there, bought that" situation. I didn't get any of last years because I had so many that were close to those colors and right now it looks like I may feel the same this year.
Thanks for posting the link! I found the comparisons most interesting. I like to see how different they are and what they look good with. Not a huge fan of these 3 (...yet haha...) and wonder what the other 2 will be.

I definitely got that feel from the fig and the tide, but not the lemon lime. What do you feel like that is repeating?
I was glad for the link to Brian's blog, though, because my first reaction to the fig in Tami's video was "gosh, that looks like Rich Razzleberry!"
Brian's blog is incredible........thanks for the link. Love his comparisons......I thought all of the colors were variations of others just like his blog shows them to be. I've got so many of those variations I doubt I will want these but you really never know until you see them up close and personal. Since I was out of Sage Shadow when Mint Macaroon came out it was a real hit for me.........same thing will probably happen when I run out of existing retired colors. New colors every year is a good thing.
So now that that lime color has been introduced, I'm thinking it has to be the in color in Sara's Paper pumpkin kit for April it looks like the color on the outside of the box.
I love turquoises. All hues...greenish to blueish. So the Tranquil Tide is a given for me. I think it looks much like the old Taken with Teal (assuming the colors I see on my screen are somewhat accurate). And I still hoard some of that!
The other two don't really strike my fancy right now. I'm realizing that I don't much like the toned colors (gray added to color), and not many of the shades (black added to color). Both are too heavy for me.
I think I'm going to love LLTwist! Maybe just in small doses but I have longed for a color like this from SU for quite awhile.
Doesn't T Tide look a lot like Lost Lagoon? I think fig is very pretty but I doubt I'll get it.
Can't wait to see more sneak peeks!
That was what it looked like to me, too, but then I took a peek at Brian's blog. Here's a direct link to his color comparisons-- he has it pegged as a darker Bermuda Bay.
LOVE the new Lemon Lime Twist! Someone said it looks great paired with Pool Party! Hurry up, June!

Thanks; the comparison's better in the link that basketdiva posted because the cards use the actual cardstocks.
I have to say, I like this collection of in colors a lot. They look good together. The last one where I liked the whole collection together was 13-15 (canteloupe/brown sugar/strawberry/pistachio/coastal).
I was looking through the new color comparisons to find my answer but have not found it yet. In my NEW catalog, Tranquil Tide and Emerald Envy are exactly the same on the color chart at the beginning of the book. I know they can't be the same so was wondering if someone can post/explain the real difference in the two colors. I can see the difference in the smaller color sample at the back of the book on the color pages but those are too small to really tell compared to the in color samples at the beginning where they are close together. TIA.
At first, the lemon lime seemed like the only in color that was really different from the current line, and I didn't understand the other choices, but then...
dum, dum, dum...
I saw the new Climbing Orchid set and realized that this color palette is absolutely perfect for creating orchids.

I just looked at the website above, where the comparison comes from. Pink Pirouette and Powder pink are virtually identical on the computer screen. They really need to invent something new.
I won't likely be getting any of these in colours, I haven't since Blackberry Bliss. And I wish they would bring back Pistachio Pudding. That pale green is so lovely and not warm like most of the lighter greens.
Why don't they put out a giant poll and get 'real' people's opinions! Better yet, just let me decide haha ;)
