Challenge Title: Help for a Fool

Some people have an innate ability to create watercolor masterpieces...and then there's people like me who need a foolproof method to produce something pretty! Thanks to the generous nature of stampers, us "watercolor fools" can learn from the best. Kim Jolley at Stampin' Artfully featured a technique she called Foolproof Watercolor. The results are stunning! My challenge to you is to make a card using Kim's Foolproof Watercolor technique. You will find her written tutorial HERE. If you prefer a short video, Kim has one HERE. Thank you for playing along and thank you to Kim Jolley for giving me permission to use her technique for this challenge! HAVE FUN with this!

Hello, hello! Anyone got their second stamping wind? I am very much a morning person (I wake up naturally around 4:30am) so my husband just made me a big mug of tea to keep me going!
I have extra panels from this technique, too. I want to get a fresh pack of baby wipes to see if that helps blend the ink even easier. Your guys' cards look great! I was commenting on them earlier and I loved seeing the range of styles and creativity.
The extra panels can come in handy, maybe, with next week's regular scs challenges, just to keep vsn cards obvious in the galleries. That's my intent, anyway.

And does it work wonderfully!! I think I might like it more then using a sponge or dauber. But for this challenge you are to crinkle up the the baby wipe and not use just to wipe it across.
My baby wipes were new and very wet!! Works so well!
Stacy, yes. It reminded me of sponging as I made some panels. The wetness of the baby wipe makes the ink blend easily. My wipes were damp, but I think the effect would have been even better if I'd had newer wipes.
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful background I was able to make!Last month, I went to the Seattle Art Museum with my 5th grader and her class. We saw some of the Impressionists work and this background reminded me of it. Obviously, no layers of paint on my card here, but a similar visual effect.
