Wow, wow, wow....what challenges. Love it and so wish I was into American basketball. My hubby follows it now and again and I have a friend who is very into it so maybe I can find some inspiration from them. Not sure how far I will go but I am looking forward to having a go even if I don't get past the initial first round buzzer stage Our local team (Perth Wildcats) have just won the National comp so this is relevant.
Thank you Lela for all of these challenges and good luck everyone. I can't wait to see what you create and look forward to sharing my LO's with you all. Happy days creating

Wow! Amazing challenges. TBH - I learned more about basketball from your challenges than I have in my whole life. lol. Looking forward to getting to the 'championship'.

Sounds like a lot of fun ! My week is busy but hopefully I will be able to get some scrapping in. If not, I'm going to a scrapbook retreat next weekend and will hopefully be able to complete all the challenges. Thanks for hosting this, Lela.
Kicking off the March Madness with a simple layout for the #2 Inspiration Challenge. This could fit into International Earth Day or National Goof Off Day.
I'm so glad all of you like the challenges ... always looking for something fun! I'm REALLY hoping this "kickstarts" my MOJO, it's been missing since December
Just a couple reminders ...
-- It's all about Scrappin' so whatever stretch or creative liberties you need to take to create a page/pages, PLEASE do so! This is all about FUN
-- These pages do NOT have to be about "basketball", it was just the premise I used for the ideas for the challenges
-- If anyone is interested in "hostessing" for VSBN April, let me know! Sharon Madson, Cheryl and I have all taken turns. Not that we mind, but it's really fun for us when others host as well. Any of us will be glad to help your nervous

Here's my page for the #1 recipe challenge. For some reason the page uploaded before I finished typing everything in and now won't keep my edit information. So after 5 tries I give up for now.
The page recipe includes from the list more than the 5 required due to the type of pictures I used. They are: Stash, Stamp, Sentiment, Spring Inspiration, Seven Photos, Sports, Scenery, Pic with shoes.
The page is from a camping/fishing trip to Bull Shoals Lake, AR. My oldest son always managed to find himself wedged in the weirdest positions to do the most normal of things, like in this picture, having a snack. Why not do it under the dashboard on a bass boat? He also used to do his homework and read books like this...HA!

I will do May if no one else has stepped up for it.
Please let me know if I should pursue it.

Finished with last challenge for VSBN. Used emblem colors again since this will be a companion page to my Goodbye St. Louis page. Scraplifted a page from Sharon from Mar16 gallery.
I really want to complete this VSBN, but the last challenge has me stumped still. I'm going to sit on it for a bit and revisit in the week. Maybe something will come to me. :/

Here's my "2 days to create LO" for the March sketch and also Challenge #1 - Recipe for the March VSBN. Title is "School First to Last" as it depicts the first day of High School for our youngest boy with the last small photo being his final Yr 12 shot. Sorry, I don't have all 4x6 photos. Hope this is ok. The photos were taken at our previous home, as well as official photographs from school. His bedroom in those days is very different to the one he has now as a 27 year old!
For the Recipe I used:
Scraps
Stamps
Six Photos
Sentiment
Shoes in the Photo
Something Shiny
Something Silver
Sketch
Phew....sorry, I overdid the "pudding".
I'm also putting this LO forward for 2 challenges, so double dipping the recipe too
I so had fun creating this and thank Cheryl for the sketch. Loved it. Hopefully you can still see the original in my LO.
Thank you for taking time to look. Happy weekend.

Here's a first layout for challenge #2. I picked International Woking Women Day and found a group picture from the office, with some of my women colleagues.
Finally getting around to posting a few challenges I finished for VSBN! For the first challenge, I picked scraps, stamps, sentiment, scenery, and a sketch from Sketches in Thyme. For the second challenge, I went with Learn About Butterflies Day.
