They also have the Scrap 'n Easelette for cards. I don't SB but if my back hurt when bending over my table I'd consider the ones for cards - I like the idea of popping a design element on and sitting back to see it from a little different perspective.

Unless there's a known design flaw, I wonder if reviews are so divided because some people are comfortable with scrapping the way they always have so there's no reason to change it up?

It's always fun to see someone bring something new to the table (no pun intended).

that's what I liked about it too. I do cards also but thought since I did both that the larger one would make sense. Makes sense we are all creatures of habits!
maybe someone at my weekend crop im going to will have one.

I have both actually. I bought the large original size, then decided to get the "card" size when they offered it at an intro price. There is much to be said for working at an angle for your back and neck. I like it for coloring, painting as well as making my cards. It was a good investment for my situation.

just got one, but haven't used it yet. Saw someone use it at a crop recently. We, my SIL and I were impressed, and both went home and ordered one.

I was considering the one for cards, but at 11"X11" it would block space behind it - which is where some go-to tools and items are kept in a long, OrganizeMore tool holder. Inks are placed there temporarily too. I had purchased a deeper Ikea table so items could be put there, and it works well. So unless something changes it's a no go.

Like a crow, it's easy to be entranced by a shiny new object, but I have to remember to step back to consider functionality.

Here's my experience someone may find useful. The large version was purchased a few years back. I returned it for the smaller version, it was just too large for cards. I used it some in the beginning, but not enough to make it worth the price. So I found a way to make it a dual purpose tool . I find it most useful in photographing cards, rather than its intended purpose.

The black background can be easily removed in photoshop, and substituted with any or no digital background. Also, the angle is just right for adding a piece of cardstock against it and another butted against the cardstock at table level . Painters tape formed into a circle sticky side out and placed as needed on the card back works better than the magnets for photographing cards not resting on the table. Painters tape on the inside also keeps my card closed if needed. It does store flat, and takes up virtually no space.

Anne: "easily removed in Photoshop."

Unless your name is Beth. Give yourself more credit. I'm a Photoshop and Photoshop Elements drop-out. I bow to your expertise and talent.
