Here's my experience someone may find useful. The large version was purchased a few years back. I returned it for the smaller version, it was just too large for cards. I used it some in the beginning, but not enough to make it worth the price. So I found a way to make it a dual purpose tool
. I find it most useful in photographing cards, rather than its intended purpose.
The black background can be easily removed in photoshop, and substituted with any or no digital background. Also, the angle is just right for adding a piece of cardstock against it and another butted against the cardstock at table level . Painters tape formed into a circle sticky side out and placed as needed on the card back works better than the magnets for photographing cards not resting on the table. Painters tape on the inside also keeps my card closed if needed. It does store flat, and takes up virtually no space.
