This week I kind of cheated (lol) because I really wanted to write a bunch of letters to my friends on the east coast...which means I'm making a lot of personalized stationery. What I do is buy plain-Jane stationery with very good quality paper, and then I stamp on it to make personalized papers for my calligraphy. Here's the cool & brand new part of this story: this is the first time our inspiration site has been on Twitter! (Twitter's been getting a lot of attention in the news lately.) Our inspiration site is the Crane and Co Twitter Feed. You don't even need an account to browse Twitter using your computer browser. However, just to be safe and fair, if you have any problems with the Twitter URL, feel free to use the Crane & Co website for your inspiration as well. I like the Twitter feed a bit more, only because it has images from lots of people all over the world! TIP: In either case, right click on the image you are inspired by, and select the "copy image link" command to add the link to your descriptions when you upload you projects. I hope you enjoy making fun stationery, or simply using the images as an inspiration for your card or 3D project designs! Have fun with it!
(Side challenge: I challenge you to send whatever you make to one of your friends with a short letter inside. I promise your friend will love receiving it, whether they are close by or far away!)
Challenge Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Use the keyword: IC588 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.

For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 5 of my favorites below. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Audrie, like you I love anything with 'writing and books'. However, I picked this for my inspiration:
Totally enjoyed this challenge today!!
Everyone who wished me to get well from both of my surgeries -- I want to thank you so much! I thank those who sent me cards, they really uplifted me during a painful time. God bless you all! Big Hugs, Jan

I changed my picture again, and added the Merry Christmas inside the wreath. Thought it would look better. IC588 Silver & Blue Wreath

I love Crane stationery! I was inspired by the brushstroke goldfish note- and went with a stylized fish with a big eye (WT626- The Eyes Have It challenge). Kept my card simple with a petticoat style border. Here's Carp Fish

Made this card inspired by this card. Finally got around to using my dies and stamped images from SU's Secret Garden- and added a quilted card for my background (with dry embossing). Love this site!

Was inspired by the Three Little Pigs Note and went with a farm-themed card. Upped my pink with a twines/button combo. Added a dc border for fun. Here's Country Hayride

Made this diagonal double pocket card for a dear friend who's always there for me- inspired by this lovely floral card- I modified a single pocket card into a double pocket card and replaced the dps- going for a soft look. Here's Lavender and Lace

Thank you Audrie! I have never been to a twitter site, as I don't tweet. Crane & Co is wee bit further than a stone's throw from where I live. It was fun to take a peek inside. I knew they printed money there, had no idea they also do stationery.Chevron Birthday
