Hello and Happy Thursday, Friends!
Today is Dr. Suess Day. He would be 113 years young if he were still alive. Dr. Suess is the creator of many, many memorable characters! Of them all, The Cat in the Hat with his striped hat stands out most in my mind. For today's challenge, let's use stripes on our projects.
A big thank you to Lisa, Sabrina, Cathy and Carla for helping me out this week with some fabulous projects. Remember to use the keyword, WT625, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creation. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for this challenge HERE.
Lately, there have been some gallery upload difficulties. I am thinking that most of the problems have been resolved, but just in case you can always share your project here in this thread.
Need help linking your project? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your project and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your project window. Highlight the address for your project. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Great challenge idea in honor of Theodore Suess Geisel. Thanks. (He also wrote children's books under the name of "Le Sieg"..... his name backwards) Learned all this after volunteering for years in an elementary school library. : )
I wanted to make a cool guy card, used my Dino-Mite stamp for my pterodactyl images, and an ink splot stamp for my background, along with a spider stamp. Fussy cut my green mountain border, and did a ripped and striped lower border, touched with green ink. Here's Wacky Dots

Awesome challenge, thanks! I used stripes and checks for my background papers, and a sweet little girl fussy cut with lots of dc hearts. Here's Sweet Treats

Had fun using a clip art Cat in the Hat image, with stripes behind it. Added a happy Mudpie Mouse image with recycled plaid gift wrap as my background, and a striped washi tape border under my sentiment. Finished with a purple bow for the color challenge. Here's Cat and Mouse bookmark
