After using my MISTI for over 2 1/2 yrs, I would recommend the original. I have the mini but I use it only after I have my paper cut to size. If I want to stamp multiples of an image, the mini really doesn't have the space. I know many people like the portability of the mini (I do use it when going to my Wed meet-up with friends but have to have my card planned ahead and paper cut). Sometimes, I wish that I had brought the original because I want to change my card sketch.
Also, I know some people have a space limitation. If you make only cards and can stay with your card sketch, then the mini could work for you. My card making process is always a 'work in progress' so the original is easier to use when I change my mind.
Love both of my MISTIs. I have one of the originals made my Iliana and thank her every time I use if for the fantastic tool that it is!
Definitely the original, although I might like the Memory one for scrapbooking. I have the original and the Mini and use the original for most of my stamping including stamping off the panel and background stamping. I use the mini for more precise sentiment stamping because it allows me to really zero in on my spacing and alignment or for doing a quick card panel with one focal image.
I'm waiting to see how much the TH one will retail for. I like the fact there seems to be no size limitation on what paper you can use in it. Almost bought a Misti, then I saw this one.
I ended up buying the 12x12 this weekend not only for scrapbooking but for cards. It seems that some of the cards I do are bigger than the Original MISTI can fit.
