Hello Technique Lovers!
Today we are doing an old technique - but one that I don't believe has been highlighted in the TLC Forum: IRIS TWIST (Iris Folding).
There is a lovely tutorial HERE, and you can find oodles of patterns/instructions if you Google "Iris Folding Patterns".
Thinner paper works better than heavy cardstock, and you can even use ribbon, as I did in my sample. It has a finished edge, so you don't have to fold, and it gets done in half the time!

Oh, a great challenge, Judy. I was doing this before I got into stamping :mrgreen: and still have a bunch of patterns. Between overtime and housework today I probably won't be along till later in the week, though.
Had fun with a bit of layering for my window for Audrey the giraffe to poke her head through. Added some washi tapes, and 2 brads. Inspired by my recent visit to see my dear friend in Seattle. Here's Amazing Day

Judy, this is a super challenge. I used to do this technique a lot ..........even have a book with 360 patterns. but it has been awhile and I really messed up. There is supposed to be a graceful curve of the different papers, but I got it wrong. However, I will still use this card.
