Hi there, everyone! Happy New Year! This is my very first SCS post for the new year! Squeeeee!!! I'm so happy I get to share it with YOU!!!
The technique we're exploring is...
SKETCH a SMILE
1. Choose an image appropriate to host a hand made "stick person" smile.
2. Hand draw a SMILEY FACE onto the images after its been stamped on the desired platform (card, memory page, self... just kidding about the self stamping. HA!)
That's it! Now just embellish the card however you want and give it away!!!
It was inspired by the quote "Smile at the world and the world will smile back at you."
What are you waiting for?! Your sample can be as simple as you like or rock it out and blow up the card with all kinds of crazy embellishments! This is YOUR offering so play it up and listen to your cut... just create the card NOW.
Be sure to tag your offering with this week's title post. Then be sure to add your entry into the Challenge gallery so that everyone can be inspired by your beautiful smile (through you wonderful creation, obviously ;)

Dug out my by the tide and from land and sea stamp sets- using this friendly sea turtle for my central image. Did some sponging with makeup wedge sponges- and added a sandy floor. Finished with a simple twine wrap and tie. Here's Swimming By

Had fun using this holiday chocolate wrapper, adding some embellishments, dimensionals, and googlie eyes. Kept it simple with a bronze and white background with some embossing, and a frosty blue larger background. Here's Gingerbread Spice

Found this vintage SU set while cleaning- adding a tan tag and yellow dp for a background for my happy crab. Here's Snappy Birthday, made for a family birthday celebration

Hi all, tried to upload a card just now and I keep getting the message that the link isn't working. Here it is and I will try again later.
It's a fun little card for the challenge, mainly a clip art image from google that I printed off but it was a little complicated as I had to work out were the image would go then using my light box to help I did a water colour wash around where the image was to be then printed the image as it wasn't water proof. Last but not least I drew in the little smiley face, this is going to be DH's valentine card
I think I wasted more good blending card doing this little one than I ever have in the whole of my card making career.
I was also intending to add this to the colour challenge but somehow got our SCS challenge and another challenge confused and used Watermelon Wonder and Flirty Flamingo.Cheers
