Hello everyone � I'm so glad to be the guest hostess for the first Inspiration Challenge of 2017. Our inspiration this week comes from a fun tumblr site � I don't wear dresses (exploring the many interpretations of one garment). Hopefully you'll find some dresses to inspire your designs.
To get the URL to link directly to your inspiration photo, click on the date just above the top left corner of the picture. For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I�ve uploaded five of my favorites � so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration.
The rest of you, remember to let us know which product from I don't wear dresses that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC579 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
IC579 Gallery How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a FanClub member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Inspired by this cool 1960s dress, I found this darling pink card, and added my own fussy cut little girl with bows and ponytails (I wore bows as a child ). The sentiment comes from SU's Everyday Expressions, and my little girl from MFT PI Pretty Pumpkin set. Here's Pink Confection

I had fun being inspired doubly by this red and black floral Afghani dress and by the wonderful card made by Cook22 (Sabrina)- Bird Remake. I went with a bit of recycled paper, cut into panels, along with some plain cardboard. Added some coloring, fussy cutting, and simple embellishments. Finished with a bright red and yellow ribbon tie pair. Here's Sabrina's Bird

Welcome aboard! It's awesome that you're joining in on the fun for the first time. Your card for IC579 sounds intriguing! It's all about expressing your personal style, right? By the way, if you're ever in need of inspiration for groomsmen's suits, feel free to check out some stylish options out there!
