I have been waiting for VSN for it seems like ages so Woo Hoo but..... it is going to fall on one of our big family BBQ days so is going to require some planning ;)It looks like there will be plenty of hostesses so I'm going to be one of the Indians and not a chief... you need them too right.
Bring it on ladies can't wait.
Hugs
Marg
I was really stuck for ideas on this one-- Couldn't get my imagination to fly, so will participate/not host. I guess. It'll feel weird! It's been a while since I've not hosted.
I'm looking forward to seeing what brighter minds have to offer!

You know Brenda I much prefer to play than host, I love the excitement of seeing the challenges come up and then having to go with whatever pops into your head because there is no time to procrastinate.
If we were stuck for hostesses I would jump in but we always seem to have plenty of creative souls prepared to share their creativity.

I want to participate and it looks like I can. My daughters have mid-terms the 16th, 19th, and 20th so they will be home studying all weekend, which means no requests to drive anyone anywhere (with three daughters, the time spent in the car adds up fast)! Now, if we could be snowed in that same weekend, it would make for a perfect setting for some serious crafting!
I love the theme for this VSN. Thank you to the hostesses for pulling this together.
Years ago, my mom and I would pick a weird, funny holiday each month and make cards for each other. I have quite a collection of absurd cards. Such fun though.

Thank you for the notification of the sneak peeks! I will have time to stamp Thursday and during the day Friday, so I can do those. I am really looking forward to VSN. I make so many cards, but I am bad about uploading them all. Maybe I can assign my photography-loving daughter that job! I am done making Christmas stuff, so I am excited to do some "normal" stamping (but I am in the Christmas spirit for the theme!)
Yeah, I just completed the two sneak peeks! Oh, it feels great to be back in the stamping room. Anyone got any special treats they plan on having nearby tonight (hot chocolate and biscotti for me)? Any new toys that will "broken in" during VSN tonight (I have a box of new SU! goodies but I handed it all unopened over to my daughters to wrap and put under the tree for me LOL!)?
I wish it would storm here. It has been single digit temps the past few days and it snowed on Tuesday, but tomorrow it will be almost 50! I love cold, snowy weather. However, it will be rainy all day tomorrow, so that is the next best thing for a nice stampy day.
Ohhh me too! I have a new SU box with upcoming SAB and Occasions goodies!!!!
Our storm is moving in so hot cocoa maybe spiked with Baileys for tonight! LOL
Lee, I am guessing you are a demo (based on your new toys)? I am, too, purely hobbyist (my only customer other than a friend who buys once or twice a year from me).

Yep! Hobby Demo here too!! A friend or two will buy sometimes but mostly it's just for me and for fun! I'm lucky to have a very tolerant hubby! LOL
I knew VSN would happen this month, but I had no clue it was tonight ( thought I missed it being like maybe last week haha) so, this was fun to see one of the challenges being the "top" one in the challenge section of the forums tonight. ( Or I would have totally missed it)
All done, photographed, and uploaded. On a roll! I'll miss a couple tomorrow when I treat myself and a friend to mani/pedi. I'll definitely need the manicure after all this ink and paper!

Any late night stampers around? I am back from caroling. It was fun, but so cold! We were going to end the evening with a party, but the hostess lives a few miles north of town. The roads were quickly icing up; saw a car in the ditch so we turned around for home. I peeked in the gallery, and now I am getting ready to catch up on tonight's challenges.
Cinnamon roasted pecans and hot tea at my table...good time to stay in side!

That is so nice that you carol. Do you go to nursing homes or around neighborhoods? I went caroling at nursing homes several times and it warmed my heart to see everyone having fun.
I am done stamping for the night (no night owl here - I like to get up at 5am so by 7pm my body is winding down, although I am still up and it is 10:30 here in Pittsburgh).
Your snack and hot beverage sound heavenly! You have made quite a cozy scene for yourself! Have fun stamping into the wee hours!
