TITLE: That Thing That You Do
HOSTESS: Scrapact (Ky)
KEYWORD: MIX206Gallery for this challenge:MIX206
Welcome welcome welcome to 2017! I am a bit relieved that all the holiday stuff is done. It's always fun, but we spend so much time focusing on others that we miss our me-time. This week's challenge is to focus on you. All about you.
The Challenge
Do that thing that you do! Is it a particular color palette? A favorite stamp set or paper? Is it a wonderful technique or fancy fold? I want you to just dive in and have fun! It's only paper, right? Just one leeeettle catch:
Put a tag on it! Or anything that is interactive. Make sure it's on the front of the card! It can be a bookmark, a gift card, and wobble action piece or slider. Make it slide into 2017!
For your project to qualify for mixed media - it must have two or more forms of art media like those listed in THIS POST. Remember to use the keyword MIX206 and come back here to link us so we can share the love for this form of art!

Wah, I missed the "anything interactive" bit when I read the challenge this morning...A flap would have been much easier then figuring out a way to add my bookmark. But I had great fun... when I have time, this is one of my favourite background techniques.
I'm so sorry, Sabrina. I forgot exactly what I wrote and had to do it from memory! At least we got it figured out. I'll give you an extra point for stepping up the difficulty level! Thanks for playing!

Oh, I just thought I'd skimmed over it too fast this morning! I know when I used to play in the sketch challenge I'd often make a card based on memory and then realise I'd missed something, LOL. I'm just glad I got to see it early, as there were several drying stages required for the card.
I am slowly catching up from yesterday (my brain is frozen from the sudden drop in temps). I decided on a pocket card with a spring surprise gift tucked inside;
