Don't laugh ... that has basically been my mantra for the past couple of weeks!!! Sometimes life gets VERY complicated!!
A little explanation ... one week before Christmas it was RAINING in our basement (and NO, that's NOT normal!) ... right over the half of the basement that is my Craft Cave!! So, needless to say, my craft space is a disaster area (holes in the ceiling, carpet pulled up, and ALL of my stamps and crafty things piled HIGH on flat surfaces and covered with sheets of plastic!!)!! And to top it all OFF, I got strep throat New Year's weekend ... so making a card has been VERY difficult ... in fact, the only way I was able to pull this off was because I got a brand new Cricut for Christmas ... and it's one of the ONLY things I can get to in my craft room. Oh ... wait ... did I mention that we also had half of our house without power last week??? Yeah ... that has been going on, too!!!
So the challenge is to use some sorta diecut ... whether it is a framelit, thinlit, Bigz die or an actual diecut machine ... you guys GOT this!!

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Oh my gosh Wendy, you are such a trooper. You could have asked for assist but you plow right on and finished that beautiful card. I sure hope that your 'house' is back in order before long and that your throat is much better soon.
OMG, Wendy, you have the woes of Job. Hope 2017 is a better year for you. I like these "easier" challenges at the week's end, where we can go a myriad of ways. Thanks.
Oh, HUGS to you, darlin'!!!! My goodness, what an ordeal!!! I'm happy that you were able to do a bit of paper-crafting therapy!! Here is a card and nameframe, both of which use many dies:
Gees! I was feeling sorry for myself for having the flu. Poor girl, I hope the rest of the year will bring a new and better craft room. And of course good health.
So sorry about your craft area and your strep! hope you are better soon. For today's Dye-ing challenge- re-purposed this pouch style envelope from my stamping buddies- adding my giraffe and grass images against a dry embossed background. Here's Long Time- open and Long Time-closed

Sorry but I'm laughing - IN SYMPATHY!
I just downsized well over 50% as I moved into the independent living section of a continuing care facility - friends who helped me pack saw no reason to put only things from one room in a box and no reason to label the boxes! Been here 3 months (love it!) but I just began to find my craft items about a week before Christmas. The only thing I can say to you is, laugh when you can, cry when you must and adopt the mantra "this too will pass!"
I haven't been stamping too much the past couple of weeks -- between the holidays and the fact that I've been sick for a week. But today's challenge was a good one. Here's my card:

I tried to upload a card yesterday and this card earlier today, but I kept getting an error message, saying the site couldn't display the page. I just wrote to SCS headquarters to ask about this. Once the email sent, I thought I'd give it another try. And it worked. Go figure!!
So sorry to hear about your stressful start to the New Year. I hope you see nothing but blessings for the rest of it!!!!
You inspired me to get out my Cricut and pick a die cut from its online project idea group. I tweaked the project a little because I wanted something more than just a different color card stock behind it. So thanks for the inspiration. Need to build my birthday stash back up...it is at ZERO!
Yikes, Wendy! What a time you've had! Here is MY DIE CARD.

I was a little slow finishing this card - it was the first time I've ever worked with 3-D Paint - On my first try, I didn't let it dry long enough and ended up smearing it so these I let dry overnight!! Here's my DYE card:
