In 1835 Hans Christian Andersen published his 1st book of fairy tales. Lets use an image that could be used in a fairy tale. I look forward to seeing your write ups too in the event someone wants to tell me a story to go with their cards this week.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Here's mine. I told in my post about the literary origins of my name. My sister was also going to get a literary name: Perdita - not from 101 Dalmatians but from Shakespeare's A Winter's Tale. However my uncle persuaded her that a less unusual name might be better, so she got to be called Lucy after our great-grandmother.

Lisa-- This is very tender. Hans Christian Andersen's stories have always fascinated me! I chose a story that invites treasured memories, and it's timely. My sisters were very much older than me. The youngest of them would have turned 79 today. I miss her terribly.
