Here is the thread for the Christmas Card Challenge for February 2016!
For February, I would like to suggest that we use just the colors gold and white on our cards. I love the richness of the gold and the freshness of the white! The two combined make for a truly elegant card or tag!
Please leave us a link once you've uploaded to your gallery and be sure to use CCC16 in the title or in the Keywords!
Reminder, this is just a suggestion to help get you motivated and start on your 2016 Christmas Cards!
There is no 'deadline' to completing your Christmas cards for January,
It's never too late to join....
You can join anytime during the year. . If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine.[/SIZE]

eta if I want to get them done I need to just make them not try to make them fit the monthly theme the plan is if I get "stuck" for an idea to go back through the months looking for a jump start.
Since I made so many of one style for January, I'm moving on to February. This card is actually all-white, because I was also doing the CAS white-on-white challenge; but I'll do the sentiment in gold to keep it honest.
hit some random button when I was typing out the specs, and I guess it uploaded cause it shows up in my gallery but not on the recently uploaded cards.
I made the tree card in gold and white, then made a second one featuring an ornament since all the gold and white supplies were already out (the ornament was left over from last year's cards, and a few are still around so I make make more variations of this.) Tree Card Ornament Card
You choose how many you want to make a month. If you meet your goal, that's great, but no one hassles you if you don't. This is just to help you have enough for Christmas so you aren't bogged down making tons of cards at the last minute.
Yeah...we just like top give ourselves a running start....and you don't have to follow the themes...they are for inspiration...so come and join the fun
Hello Felicia and welcome to the 2016 Christmas card challenges!!
You set your own goals as to how many cards you need to make each month. You do this so come December you are not stressed and trying to get all your cards done and out with the business of the season!
We provide themes each month to help you get to your goals, however, they are just for inspiration. If you follow them fantastic, if not still post your cards for all to see!
There is no wrong way to do a challenge, every challenge is open for interpretation by you as the card maker.
There are so many great people here at SCS to help you along your journey of card making for not just inspiration but for tutorials and friendship!!
Thank you! I had such a hard time with the layer die that I had to cover the mistakes with gold ribbon...and I have yet to fine a great detail embossing powder that gives better coverage
